What You Can Expect
From Jeita you’ll make your way to Byblos—one of the oldest cities on earth. Home to more than 24 successive civilizations, this 7,000-year-old city is among the top archeological areas in the nation. Follow your guide through some of the highlights, including the Byblos Castle, as you explore this ancient destination. Make a stop at the medieval Roman port, which ranks tops among the city’s tourist spots.
Enjoy a traditional Lebanese lunch (included) before making your way to Harissa, where you’ll get an up close look at the Statue of the Virgin Mary—including the chapel and spiral staircase—and have the opportunity to look out over impressive views of the Bay of Jounieh. Your guide will explain how these religious sites are a destination for pilgrims from across the globe. Capture as many photos as you can at this religious destination before you settle back in to the comfort of your private vehicle for the return trip to your Beirut hotel, where this incredible tour ends.
This is one of the most wanted trips Nakhal has to offer. A lot of people going there...
Jeitta grotto is the most wonderful cave you will ever see. Unfortunately, you will not be allowed to take pictures. Part of the tour is on foot, the other part is on water with boats.
Byblos or Jbail in arabic is also very impressing. You can see the old castle, the amphitheater, the remains of the old houses.
You can reach Harissa either by cable car or by bus. The agency offers you both options. Usually, everyone goes there by cable car. On the top, you will see the statue of Virgin Mary.
Personally, i regret they don't include Tripoli anymore... There were people that went by public bus and they said it is beautiful.
This was a great tour with the perfect amount of people. Our guide was as informative of the sights as she was enthusiastic about them. The value for the money was excellent and the lunch we had was fit for a king.
Very interesting tour with a very nice guide and delightful Lebanese specialities. Highly recommended !
Byblos was one of my favorite tours! A must go! The site was beautiful! The guide was very knowledgeable about all the sites. I would highly recommend this tour of you like ancient history and archaeology.
Great value for money! We loved all the places we visited. A bit rushed for pictures through Byblos. I recommend that the tour spends a bit more time here and that the guide walks us more slowly through the sites in Byblos. Apart from that, we loved it
Great tour. Our guide Natasha was very pleasant and knowledgeable and the lunch included was great as well!!! The only downside was the van used for transportation....it was very crammed and uncomfortable but other than I highly recommend this tour.
Great way to spend the day.
Very good guide and brilliant locations
Great way to get out of Beirut and explore some of the sights further along the coast - ancient ruins at Byblos, beautiful views from Harissa, and stunning caves at Jeita. Our guide was friendly and engaging, with plenty of 'free time' to explore on your own if you wanted hotel pickup / dropoff was painless. All of the sites are in areas currently considered safe - and are definitely well worth the visit!
Tour was excellent. Guide so informed and definitely worth the price. Enjoyed every part of the day.
