Wandering around the ruins at Byblos was wonderful. The guide was knowledgeable and gave a depth of insight to the tour. Jeita Grotto is amazing! An absolute must see. Too bad pictures aren't allowed, but that just means I'll have to go back! The cable car up to Harissa was a great experience that offered specatcular views.
Very informative, exciting, fun, well organized. Reasonably priced for the activities involved.
Super amazing and the tour guide was so professional and friendly.
such a wonderful tour around the amazing Jeita , Harissa and Byblos u feel like travelling through the time and enjoying the Real Beauty of lLbanon
This is one of the most fun things I did while in Beirut. Our tour guide was amazing--knowledgable, enthusiastic, and very nice. She was able to answer any questions, and she engaged in some great conversation.
The sites themselves were fascinating. The caves were otherworldly, like nothing I've ever seen. Byblos was steeped in history. There's one tiny shop that sells authentic ancient artifacts for pennies on the dollar. Treat yourself.
Bottom line: This is a great tour and well worth taking.
Well planned and informative. Excellent tour guide
Excellent in every way.
Great tour, Lebanon is beautiful, the only downside if any is that lunch time is at 3pm... we were completely unprepared for it so everybody was extremely hungry by 3pm. Just make sure u have breakfast and bring some snack with u.
Jeita Grotto is amazing, too bad they don't allow photography or sell postcards with it, so I have no souvenir :-(
Byblos is again pretty, both the ancient ruins and the town with the souk, museums, boutiques and restaurants.
It was a Sunday during the pilgrimage month of May so it was very busy at Harissa. Noisy building work was taking place at the cathedral next to the statue. There was thick fog (not unusual in the area) that prevented us from enjoying the view.
The explanations of the guide were good but we weren't thrilled with the structure of the day: rush to visit everything, have lunch (good food, nice view to the beach) very late, about 2 PM and then drive back to Beirut. The fog at Harissa cleared in the afternoon so if we had lunch first we could have enjoyed the stop at Harissa more.
This tour is brilliant value for money. You are transported via comfortable coach to three amazing places: the Jeita Grotto followed by Byblos, and then a stop for lunch in Jounieh, followed by a visit to Harissa and Our Lady of Harissa.
The downside? Our tour guide on the day had to be one of the most impatient and less-than-friendly guides I have ever encountered. She was constantly rushing people to make a move when they wanted to take photos (she kept saying that there would be time to take pictures later, but then we wouldn't go back to the same spots). Additionally, she was walking too fast, keen to get through the tour as soon as possible. While I don't have a problem with this, she had to bear in mind that there were older people in our group who were not capable of walking as fast as she did. She needed to be more considerate.
It was an interesting tour. Jeita Grotto is amazing. The cable car ride at Harissa is worth it. The lunch was decent. Byblos was a bit disappointing as we only went to an old fort. Overall a great tour.
Fine tour, good guide.
