Patrick was a fantastic tour guide. There was so much more on this trip than we expected. Absolutely beautiful countryside and coastline, and interesting, unusual sights.
It was money and time well spent. Dereck, our tour guide/driver, ensured that we would have the one of the best experiences we'll ever have in Northern Ireland. He entertained us with jokes skillfully interspersed with facts about each place we visited. This really is a an experience not to be missed when in Belfast! :
We were blessed with lovely weather which always helps but even without the glorious sunshine this tour would take some beating. It's a full day and takes in not only the GOT locations but travels along the most scenic coastal roads in Northern Ireland. Derek the joke telling driver added to it all.
Very well run trip. The geography is of course beautiful, but our guide was also excellent: knowledgeable and funny. You'll learn a lot about medieval Irish history!
This tour really exceeded our expectations! While the GOT sights were interesting, the highlights were the views of the coastline! Just beautiful. Derrick was engaging, albeit a little to talkative for our liking.
Fantastic tour given by driver/guide Derek of some of the locations used in Game of Thrones including Ballintoy Harbour, Cushendall Caves and the Dark Hedges. Giant's Causeway is a natural wonder and the gorgeous countryside is a visual feast for your eyeballs! A great way to see a lot in one day.
Our tour guide Derek was the best lol he is incredibly knowledgeable regarding both irish history and game of thrones while managing to keep everyone entertained and laughing their asses off at the same time. Great tour and great stops (including some extras). Also the coastal drive is breathtaking!
Our tour guide - Patrick - was great ! Knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and a great driver.
Outstanding. Guide's knowledge was extensive and awesome/ definite recommendation
Fantastic guide who had great knowledge on all the sights visited and Game of Thrones in general. Well worth the money.
My tour guide's name was Patrick and he was a phenomenal tour guide. He had a great understanding of the show and even included tidbits about stories/the cast/interviews done by the cast. We got back a few minutes early which was great because it allowed my friend's and I to catch the LAST train out of Belfast that night.
Fantastic trip! This was a birthday present for my boyfriend and we are both avid GOT fans.
Derek was a 5 star tour guide, with his witty personality, love of the programme and immense knowledge of the tourist locations.
We were lucky enough to have been part of a smaller tour group and as such Derek brought us to additional landmarks.
I would highly recommend this trip and would love to do it all again!
Our guide was amazing! So knowledgeable and energizing the whole trip.
Great tour, probably the best guide for any day tour I have ever done, very hands on and seemed to be as excited as the guests onboard, I can see why this tour company is the market leader
Amazing tour. Patrick, our driver was excellent providing interesting facts about the different places we visited along with his knowledge of game of thrones and his sense of humour made it a thoroughly enjoyable trip !
Superb! Our tour guide Derek was great, really entertaining and knowledgeable. The places visited are beautiful and the meal at the Giants causeway hotel was very good.
Brilliant tour. Go to so many pretty areas in Northern Island and the tour guide was really knowledgable abhor game of thrones. Found it really fun and interesting and would recommend to anyone - even if you don't know GoT very well the locations are beautiful.
a really good interesting day despite the weather. informative and entertaining guide Philip. the scenery in Northern ireland really does live up to the hype.
The scenery was great, weather still good even though experience strong wind. Guided by an experience guide whom has knowledge. Enjoy the trip very much
Great, highly recommend to anyone, you don't have to be a GoT fan to enjoy these locations,
This was our best day in Belfast. We were picked up from our hotel in a smaller coach and transferred round the corner to meet the rest of the party and our larger coach for the day. Our guide Phillip was absolutely fantastic, a font of knowledge, not only about every aspect of Games Of Thrones but also about the history of Northern Ireland. Considering it was quite a long journey to the first stop (1.5 hrs) the time flew by and Philip was giving us information the entire time. We even got a brief glimpse of some filming actually going on from the coach window, which we were told was quite unusual for a Saturday. We were given plenty of time at each stop on the tour and Phillip even played the clips from the series that were filmed at each location we stopped at. There is quite a lot of walking involved to reach some of the locations but if I can do it then anyone can :) The coach driver (also called Phillip) was excellent, I normally suffer from travel sickness but even with some of the winding roads, I was fine. A huge thank you to Phillip the guide and Phillip the driver for a fantastic day out. I would highly recommend this to anyone, even if you've never seen Game of Thrones, this tour is worth it for the scenery alone.
