Bus was very good. The busses should run more often, like every 30 to 45 minutes. Bergen was a very pretty city and I wish we had more time there
Great way to get a broad overview of Bergen. Since we only had one day, it met our needs and was a good value.
Good tour with FREE WiFi on the bus. At the cruise boat price of $0.50/minute for internet... the bus was free.
An Excellent way to feel the flavour for those having a short stay.
Can't fault it.
Excellent. Took the entire tour and then went back to the places that interested us. Great value for people who are on a cruise because of its convenient access near the docks.
The bus stopped just outside the ship secured area and was very new and comfortable. The stops were well marked and buses came frequently. It was an easy way to get around Bergen and see all the sites. Our first stop was the funicular as it gets crowded early.
This excursion was very good. We boarded without having to wait as soon as we left the ship. The bus was waiting very close to the ship on the pier. We enjoyed the commentary and were able to hear it clearly.
Affordable and efficient way to see and travel to all the main sites in downtown Bergen including some residential neighborhoods. Staff were courteous and helpful.
very good tour, thoroughly enjoyable. We went back several places spotted on the tour.
The Hop on-Hop-Off bus is good to get an overview of the city. However, most of the sights are really within walking distance of the cruise terminal, where we were. Bergen is absolutely a beautiful city with extremely nice people. A man dropped his wallet and all his money fell out - - everyone stopped, collected it and gave it back to him - - not one person tried to keep any! The fish market is a must-see. It was fun just to sit at a cafe and people watch. If you have a chance to go to Bergen - or Norway, in general, I would highly recommend it. Having been on 15 cruises, this was focused only on Norway, and it was one of our favorites ever.
The Hop-On Hop-Off Tour was a great way to get an over view of Bergen. The head phones with English commentary was informative and interesting. The weather the day we were there was chilly and off/on rainy so the cover on the upper level of the bus was much appreciated!
Tour would have been good except it rained--hard, all day and made it virtually impossible to really enjoy. No fault of the operatior.
Tour was comprehensive and informative and the double decker provided clear views of the sights. Audio was occasionally intermittent and crackly but enjoyable experience overall.
