I had no idea what to expect on the City Circle Tour of Berlin. The city was beautiful and the tour was absolutely wonderful. We would not have been able to see as much of Berlin as we did without taking the bus tour. The trip was well worth the cost and if I have an opportunity to use this service again, I certainly would.

It was the best way I could ever imagine to see Berlin's many attractions.

We enjoyed the tour - it was very interesting, and it was easy to get on and off the bus. It was also good to have earphones to listen to the commentary in English. However, as we got on at Alexanderplatz, there was nowhere we could change our voucher for tickets. The bus driver just ushered us on to the bus, but we were getting off at next stop to do the boat trip. We didn't know which boat we were to use, but we were allowed on the one that was about to leave. There was then a problem as we didn't have tickets, so we had to get our voucher photocopied at the boat ticket office when we got off and then had to find a bus ticket office to change our vouchers to tickets. This was all a bit confusing for strangers in a strange land who couldn't speak the language.

The Hop-on Hop-off bus tour of Berlin was extremely good and informative. We were able to see most of the main sights and receive good and educational commentary in the process. This is highly recommended.

The buses did not come frequently enough, and when they did they came three at a time!

Great way to see the city stopping at lots of spots along the way. Excellent value for money.

Good way to get around Berlin and see the sights. Headphones at most seats did not work very well.

The earphones would not work. I sat for 2 and a half circuits in three different seats and they did not operate!

Easiest way to see all points of interest and then go back at your leisure to explore further what was of interest. Including the boat trip was great!!!

We had only a short time on a cruise ship visit. The bus was nice, new and clean. Hit all the major sites we wanted to see. Stops were on time as promised. English audio guide was good and informative. Each seat had a headphone jack and headphones available. We could select the language we wanted. Yes, we would do this tour again.
But, directions to the bus stops are not clear. A map would be help. We had to do a little exploring to find them. Way overcrowded. We had to stand part of the way so we didn't have the English audio guide. Only at seats we waited for people to get off before getting a good seat. Also, the air conditioning could have been stronger as it was a hot day.
We had difficulty finding the exact bus stops but enjoyed the tour and loved Berlin.

The hop-on hop-off bus tour of Berlin is a great way to see the major landmarks of the city on your own. There are headphones on the bus with audio tracks in multiple languages that describe all the sights along the way. I highly recommend the included river boat cruise during the summer as it's a great way to see many of Berlin's landmarks including the Chancellor's residence and the Reichstag from a unique angle. The tour guide describes all the sights in both German and English, and includes some history as well.
The only drawback to the whole experience was that the buses stopped running at 4pm. Given that we didn't arrive in Berlin until around 11am from our cruise ship which docked 3 hours away in Warnemunde, that left us with little time to explore on our own. We actually did not get a chance to take the entire bus tour, skipping some of the museums.
Great way to see the city in a short amount of time.
