My husband and I joined this tour on Sunday 10 April 2016. The tour guide was a delightful chap from Australia called Taylor.
This is a very interesting tour. It was made all the more enjoyable because of Taylor who gave us a lot of information. His delivery was most entertaining and very clear. He was also most friendly and helpful. This is a tour that I definitely recommend and one that should be taken first when visiting Berlin by persons who are keen to know of the period leading up to the rise of Hitler until the fall of the Berlin wall. I give this tour 5 stars
Really enjoyed this tour - Brian the guide was hugely entertaining and informative. The four hours flew by despite the cold weather and we really felt we'd learnt something at the end of it.
Absolutely brilliant, the best walking tour I have ever been on. Our Aussi guide was entertaining and so knowledgeable. This is fantastic value and an absolute must
Excellent tour! Our guide Bastian was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and open to all kinds of questions, culinary or cultural. Can't speak highly enough of him and his tour - well worth your time and money if you're in Berlin for a few days.
This is an excellent way to see and hear about the highlights of East and West Berlin. It was extremely informative and the guide struck a great balance between sharing the right level of information and allowing us to simply view some of the sights.
Excellent value for money. Our guide Mike was very knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining. His personal connections with the city clearly showed his love for Berlin. For a complete tour of inner Berlin I would totally recommend this to you.
Our guide, Jared, was engaging, informative and very enthusiastic. The content was excellent and gave us a very clear picture of the local history. We highly recommend this tour.
Everything about this tour was superb! Very easy to book, incredibly good value and our guide, Barnaby, was interesting, knowledgeable and funny! And at 6 foot 9 we were never going to lose him...! I would thoroughly recommend this walk and if you're in Berlin for a few days do it early on in your trip. You get some great information about places to visit and also not to visit!
Outstanding,is the only way I can describe the tour but the best part of it was Brian who was our amazing tour guide the 4 hours went by too quickly is all I can say.

Jamie was an excellent guide. His knowledge was astounding and kept us enthralled for 5hours. Thanks
Matti was an incredible tour guide-- really knowledgable and insightful. I'm so glad I went on this tour.
Excellent tour. Our guide Mike really brought the history of Berlin to life. Best 10 euro I spent ! highly recommend it James
Excellent tour. Our guide Barry had a genuine love of the city and provided a great flavour of the history with humour and enthusiasm,
It was a very good tour to have a general view of Germany's history and the key mouments. Our guide was Matt and he was very knowledgeable of the historic events and shared interesting pictures to ilustrate his explanations, His personal life experience was also very interesting to exemplify how it was leaving in a split city.
Absolutely outstanding! We did many walking tours throughout Europe, and this was by far and away the best.

We got to fully appreciate Berlin's history by doing this tour. Our guide was Taylor. He was very informative and systematic. This tour is a must for all 1st time visitors of Berlin.
An excellent tour led by Barnaby who was a well informed and amusing host.
Fantastically entertaining 4hr walk through mostly East Berlin and 800 years of Berlin history including Albert the Bear, all the Freidrichs and Wilhelms and both World Wars and beyond. Brian's a Texan theatre director and it shows in the way he brings everything to life before your eyes. How he retains all this information and, more importantly, doesn't trot it all out by rote, but makes it sound fresh is beyond me! I can barely remember family birthdays...
We did the walk on a snowy cold Thursday and somehow it added to the experience. We brought a packed lunch but there IS a half hour break at a café about 2/3's of the way through, so they choice is yours. When we come back to Berlin we'll definitely be doing another walk with these Tours. Worth every Euro.
Family of 4 with 2 boys aged 13 and 16. This tour was fantastic! Barnaby was our guide and he did an amazing job. He was like a walking encyclopedia, with a great sense of humour. The walk was at a steady pace with a break halfway. If you only do one thing in Berlin you must do this. Brilliant!
Very informative, our guide Tarek was really passionate about Berlin also very humorous and kept us all interested, had a coffee break in a lovely coffee shop called waycup, lovely staff, would highly recommend this tour
Definately a big plus for any visitor to Berlin. Brian is a marvelous guide, a walking Wikipedia and a great entertainer. I can recommend him strongly.
Perfect way to see Berlin. Do not recommend the buses. My guide Barnaby was informative and engaging. The tour was fun and informative.
