This is perfect to do if you want to get oriented in the city. The cruise component was great.

This was our first hop on hop off ticket, and the voucher said you could only start the tour at two locations, which was inconvenient. In other cities, you can get on at any of the stops which makes it more accessible.

This was a great way to get an overall view of Berlin, so we focused on what to see at a later point. The buses were great and timely. Although they were scheduled to run until 6:00 p.m., at 5:45 we waited for a half hour and no bus came, so we walked to our destination. My only other complaint was that the audiotapes were sometimes scratchy and could not be heard completely.

It was definitely worth the money to see all the main sights without too much walking. The only downside was that there are only two departure points, and you cannot get on any other point with your voucher. You have to go one of the departure points to exchange the voucher for a ticket. In our case, this involved a long walk to find the departure point, but once we found it, the tour was well worth it.

This was a good value for money and a good way to see the sights.

The pick up point was easily found, the commentary excellent although could of been a little louder. All the usual points of interest shown, I would suggest getting off at the Jewish Museum as this was very interesting and well worth paying to get in. The boat trip was excellent although somewhat confusing which boat to pick up, putting this to one side well worth going on as you see things that you wouldn't under your own steam. Overall very good value for money but get on the the bus early as it is definitely a whole day trip.

This was a great way to see Berlin. The buses were large, and frequent. Note that you need to go past the TV tower to find the buses. It can get a bit confusing in the Plaza. The only complaint I had was that the buses did not run long enough. They advertise a 6pm stop time, but most sites have a last pickup before 4pm.

This was a great trip and an ideal 'first day visit' tour. The next two days we were there, we were able to get round with public transport as we had seen everything on the first day and got our bearings.

We must complain about the audio. Very poor quality, both technically and verbally. What was good was the sightseeing, at least from the upper level.

When we were looking for the bus stop, there wasn't a sign for this bus and we had to ask around if we were in the right place. Every time the bus went over a bump the translation changed back to German and the sound went down. Many of the sets weren't working. People didn't understand that when they say the bus stops at 5:00 p.m., that the bus literally stops at the nearest bus stop at that time and off-loads all passengers. Make your own way back! Our bus driver was so busy dealing with people who thought that the last trip was at 5:00 p.m. at each of the stops that he wasn't still doing another round trip that we ended up only going half the distance.

Overall, we were very pleased. As usual, Viator does a great job. With that said, this tour has some areas for development. The audio was not in sync with the actual tour. For example, audio would indicate for us to look to the left at a monument and the tour bus had either already passed the monument or not yet arrived at the monument. We will continue to use Viator. Consistent quality.

Like similar trips, the commentary at times doesn't seem to match the ride and there are no opportunities for real photography.

The stop locations and times varied based on traffic and can be inconvenient. Also, the buses stop running early so you may find yourself catching the U-Bahn back across Berlin.
