What You Can Expect

Berlin Segway Tour

Berlin Segway Tour

There are walking tours and there are bus tours, but this unique Segway tour provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Berlin. It’s the perfect tour for those who are new to the city as well as those who are very familiar with Berlin.

Riding on a Segway isn’t difficult, but it’s important to know how to maneuver one. This tour begins in Central Berlin at Alexanderplatz, a large public square and transport hub in the central Mitte district near the Fernsehturm. Enjoy a brief but thorough training session to make sure everyone feels comfortable and knowledgeable about their Segway. Additionally, all passengers must weight between 100 and 255 pounds and at least 15 years old to participate.

With the training out of the way, it’s time to hit the open road.

This Segway tour is a fantastic orientation to Berlin, providing an opportunity to see virtually all of the popular sites as well as those hidden ones that are “off the beaten path.” The tour will stop every few hundred meters to see the sites, hear fascinating stories, take pictures and discuss Berlin’s history. The knowledgeable, English-speaking guide will also explain present-day and lifestyle facts about Berlin while also being available to answer any and all questions.

Some of the highlights include one of the last remaining sections of the Berlin Wall, now under historical protection; Brandenburg Gate, arguably Germany's most famous monument; Reichstag, Germany's famous parliament building; Topograpy of Terror, the former headquarters of the infamous Nazi Gestapo and SS and much more.

This Berlin Segway adventure concludes back at its starting point in Central Berlin.

Fantastic! All afternoon seeing the sights with the best tour guide ever - Marietta. She was so interesting and had a really dry sense of humour. Have done Segway tours before but this was the best.

The Segway Tour, was the highlight of our Berlin visit even though the weather was cool and rainy. We were able to master the navigation of the Segway within a half hour of practicing. Our guide, Toby, was so kind and helpful to all I am 77 years old. My 16 year old grandson was in his glory too.

What a great experience - great way to get around quickly and efficiently without missing a beat on what normal tours do - our host and leader was very competent and learning to ride a Segway was easy and enjoyable. Tour ended too quickly :

It was e GREAT tour!!!
It is so much fun and easy to ride the sagway, and this is thanks to the guys there who give you the best guidance as to how to ride it safely.
and the greatest thing was the tour guide Patrick Full of knowledge and so intelligent and funny!
We were 4 not very young women and it was our first experience with a sagway tour and afterwards we gave a promise to ourselves that we'll do it again in every city we come to explore.

We were the only couple on this tour, having the tour guide all to ourselves. We had toured Berlin on our own the day before so the guide took a places we hadn't been. Patrick had great information we did not already know, also let us stop for coffee and snacks as it was raining and freezing. Overall great experience. I would highly recommend this tour.

We just took this tour today with Walid and had a fantastic time. Saw all the sites and he shares so much details with a bit of comedy thrown in that makes for a very pleasant experience. We were already happy with a previous segway tour of another city as you cover so much ground without being tired. Its like a walking tour only miles covered, much more material, and the joy of segway.

Their equipment wad much easier to use for both me and my wife than previous tour. Really glad we did this.

Thanks Walid!!

I would 100 recommend this tour to anyone. Tobi was such a great guide, and was hugely knowledgeable on not just the places we visited, but on the history of Berlin in general. The tour itself is a great way to see some of the top sites, and in a much more time efficient way than on foot!

I'd recommend taking the tour at the beginning of your trip if possible, as it's a great way to gather your bearings of the city, and pinpoint places that you'd like to see again in a bit more detail at a later time.

If taking the tour in the winter months, be sure to dress warmly. Segwaying doesn't require much physical exertion and Berlin gets pretty cold. I'd especially recommend taking gloves, although there are some to borrow if you do forget.

Once again, we absolutely loved the tour and would recommend to anyone.

Segways were great fun and a fantastic way see Berlin. Tobi was very knowledgeable and very interesting to hear his personal experience of Berlin. Would recommend you do this early in your holiday to get your bearings for the rest of your stay.
