The river boat tour was terrific. The weather was wonderful and being on the river was most enjoyable. The dinner was fabulous and the concert was lots of fun. All the activities made for a most enjoyable day of events.
It was the best day we had in Berlin, the cruise took in all the places of interest and the dinner and concert at Charlottenburg Palace just took my breath way. The food was excellent and the concert the same. A great day and night.
We spent our last day in Berlin taking the leisurely boat ride viewing the city from the water on a rainy day. By the time we returned, the rain had stopped and we proceeded to the Palace for an enjoyable meal and superb concert. The musicians and performers were exceptional. It was a perfect ending to our stay in Europe.
HIGHLY RECOMMMENDED!!! 3 hours of the Spree were delightful! Nice dinner and suburb concert! Thank you!!!!
Dinner was delicious, and boat cruise, concert...everything was so nice.
An absolutely enjoyable afternoon and evening. The river cruise is definitely a great way to get the feel of Berlin. The dinner was exquisite and the costumed staff was a delightful touch. The concert was a real treat, with Baroque music and opera from the period of the castle and the musicians in period costume made it even more realistic.
Excellent cruise, informative and enjoyable! Very good facilities on board.Enjoyed food and drink. Dinner very good. Concert was superb, the highlight of my five days in Berlin. Would like to have had time to seethe palace, though.
The Spree river tour was informative, more hot and sauna like than anything. A bit too long i.e. 3 hours. Going to dinner at the palace after, we were underdressed even though I was told earlier that short and sport shirt would be fine. The dinner in the ball room was great and the concert afterward was shockingly great. I had 2 teenage boys (jocks) with me and they even liked it. The Concert was the surprise of the nite. Great time. Well worth it but in the summer would probably skip the Spree River tour in conjunction with the palace. Would do the Spree river separately in the Summer time.
Thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon and evening. The boat trip was very relaxing. The meal at the palace was good and the concert was really excellent. Everyone joined in the spirit of recreating an age gone by which was fun and the costumes enhanced the whole evening in a lovely setting.
Good organisation - all the tickets were waiting for us.
Enjoyed our Sightseeing Cruise, and the dinner and concert. The period costumes were a nice touch.
Booked package in advance of trip. Sightseeing Cruise was very enjoyable, nice boat and the staff were very efficient. Concert was excellent however the day was very hot, there was no airflow in the room and it became so hot and sticky we left before it finished. The dinner was a real letdown. We advised in advance that we had a vegetarian with us. The starters were ok, nothing exceptional. The main course consisted of a breast of chicken, a small bit of veg and a couple of very small potatoes. The vegetarian option was a small vol-au-vent with some of our vegs stuffed into it and a couple of potatoes, absolutely dreadful. We complained but were advised that as the meal was catered there was no other option available. One of our favourite pastimes is eating out (my son is an excellent chef) so it was really disappointing to be handed something like this when it is advertised as an exclusive candlelit dinner. So beware when booking the package, dinner is definitely something to be missed. My rating is for the cruise and concert, I would not rate the dinner at all!!

The cruise was fairky interesting but it is not a 3 hour round trip. Rather it is 90 minutes to Point A and 90 minutes back to the starting point, with the same commentary in reverse. It would be better to take one of the cheaper city tours. The dinner in the evening was adequate if somewhat uninspired, although the setting was superb. The concert was excellent featuring an excellent violinist, a superb young oboist and a highly talented soprano. The choice of music from Vivaldi, Bach and Mozart was highly appropriate. Overall, however, this combination was over expensive and can be done more effectively through individual bookings.
