We got off to a shaky a start as the ticket seller had to take us from West Berlin to East Berlin as the tour guides hadn't arrived. However once we met Jess everything worked out very well. He was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great passion for Berlin and its history. He gave us plenty of time to look and reflect on the sites and didn't rush us at all. He was open to questions and had a very broad knowledge base. It was an excellent tour. Thank you Jess..
Really great up close and personal experience at the part of Berlin that was effected the war. What a great insight. Our guide was very knowledge and could answer all of our questions about the area. Well done and we left with smiles on our face with a deeper understanding of the area.
This tour is fantastic and a must for anyone visiting Berlin. It is quite a walk because it covers all the sights you would want to see. Our guide Dennis was great not only in his knowledge and his willingness and ability to answer questions but his engaging manner.
Fantastic tour which I can't rate highly enough. Our guide Kathrine was professional, passionate about everything and truly brought Berlins history to life..........all of this in -10......well done and thank you.
The walking tour is a must. You go to all the main sites and learn about the history of the city with an excellently knowledgable guide who gives a real insight into the city. Would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Absolutely fantastic guided tour. Kevin our tour guide was excellent. The information was well paced as was the walking!
The guide was very friendly, approachable and knew the story of Berlin in great detail. It's nice to be guided by someone who is genuinely interested in the history of the city.
Tour was excellent and this was down to Pip, her personality and ability to inform and challenge was fantastic.
Learned a huge amount as well as having preconceptions challenged and altered.

Having been on many tours around the world, this was one of the best I had ever experienced. Our tour guide was a very knowledgable Scottish guy who spoke fluent German and was extremely knowledgeable about German/European history. He was also very able to make the tour a learning experience for both those who are new to Berlin/German/European history and those with a more extensive understanding. Great deal and great tour!
This was by far the best tour we had while in Europe. Our guide Matti was great. He explained all the sights in great detail and also took the time to explain the historical significance of each site regarding the war. He also included some personal stories from his family about what it was like to live in a divided Berlin. I would highly recommend this tour as a great overview of Berlin.
Great walking tour on a cold brisk day! Kevin, our guide, was a fountain of knowledge delivered in an interesting and entertaining manner. We had taken the bus tour the previous day and this really put the meat on the bones, so to speak. Definitely recommend it.
very good well informed guide would definitely recommend to friends 4 hours well spent
This tour was the best city tour I've done. Our guide, Jonathan, showed us a lot of the history going from historical facts to personal stories. He also cared and was asking us questions about how we felt with the city and its monuments. It was almost like a walk in the park with a friend, except the walk was 5.5km of history through a complex city and the friend is an extremely knowledgeable guide. I recommend it to anyone as the group are not too big and our guide felt and adjusted to the vibe of the group.
Our tour guide, Jess, was amazing. The four hour walk felt like a four hour class, and we learned so much.
Despite the weather, the tour was the highlight of my Berlin trip. Me and my girlfriend had already seen a few of the attractions in Mitte on our first day in Berlin but it didn't matter because our guide gave such a great indepth knowledge of the history of Berlin that was fascinating. Highly recommended.
We were given an excellent walk through the last 300 years of German history with an informative and excellent guide. She was able to summarise events and then walk us past relevant buildings and monuments with time to look and a welcome break in the middle of the four hour tour.
Our tour guide Ryan was brilliant, clever and very informative!
What a great tour. Our guide Matti was knowledgeable, personable and very accommodating to the group and our questions. I would highly recommend this tour.
Only negative was that a meeting point was a bit difficult to find since the restaurant is in the middle of square, not on the edge.
Sam was a great tour guide. All was done well - The walking pace, knowledgeable briefings, recommendations.
Jess was a brilliant guide and truly brought the history alive...
