This tour was the highlight of our recent visit to Germany. Our guide, I believe her name was Aya, (Sorry if I spelled the name wrong) was excellent in every aspect of the word. She took the time to explain and describe each and every sight during the entire tour. She was very friendly and exhibited a great sense of humor as well. We totally enjoyed this particular tour and would highly recommend it to anyone. Dresden was a very interesting and beautiful city based on it architecture and history. A must see city.
A city not to be missed. Amazed by the rebuilding of this city after it's destruction during the war. Great guide, very informative.
Dresden Tour was excellent and besides Dresden is a beautiful place the Guide we had with us to comment on the sites we visited was very welcoming and of great experience. Her name was Shlomit and we wish to tell her a big thank you for the nice day we spent with her. It was a marvellous experience. Thank you Viator.
it was a highly recommended tour, the guise was excellent and it covered our expectation leaving us some free time to wonder around; thank you again, louis sedgwick
Dresden is such a beautiful city- it is beyond what you'd expect in a day trip- it was truly an experience! Our guide, Naomi, was pleasant, enthusiastic, and she had several pictures, along with personal insights, to share. The itinerary was very well planned out. I only wish we could've spent a few more hours exploring on our own there. I would strongly recommend taking this this trip if you have the time and the desire to explore outside of Berlin.
Our English speaking guide was Naomi and she was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The bus (which doesn't have a toilet on board) makes a WC stop on the way to Dresden at a very clean and nice rest stop where you can buy hot foods, snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. The drive is rather long, but at Dresden, Naomi takes the group to the WC at a museum before embarking on a walking tour lasting 90-120 minutes. Dresden has a rich history and it is very beautiful. There is time to have lunch at a cafe, restaurant or a fast food establishment after the walking tour. On the bus ride back (be sure to use the toilet before getting on the bus as the bus doesn't stop on the return trip), Naomi talked to everyone who was still awake and this personal touch was what made the tour complete. She gave people recommendations on what to see back in Berlin, U-Bahn directions on how to get to various restaurants, and showed a genuine interest in the lives of the tour group members. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. We arrived back in Berlin about 6:30 pm.
Wonderful tour. Our guide was excellent and the trip had the right mix of the guided part and being able to explore on our own. Well worth the money.
