I truly enjoyed this Dresden day trip learning the history and culture of this amazing city. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the city and very informative. We had plenty of time to tour and learn the area and was given ample time to have lunch and walk around on our own before heading back to Berlin. I booked my hotel close to the meeting point which is right next to the train and bus station. I highly recommend this tour!
The trip was fantastic - really interesting and lead by lovely people. We had Lior as our guide, and he was very knowledgeable and friendly, and even recommended loads of other things for my friend and I to do at the end of the trip. 100% recommend!!
Oren is a wonderful guide. Bus is clean and comfortable. Tour gives you basics of Dresden. It and #39;s not tiring and great variety of food to eat, at nice restaurants like Emila or Edilweiss. We sat on the Church and heard a live choir. Have an ice cream and e marvel at rebuil town after war.
This tour provides a nice overview of Dresden. It is a perfect day trip. Keren our guide was knowledgeable and super nice. The tour left me wanting to return again to Dresden on my own and stay awhile.
This was a great day trip. The guide takes you through the city and points our 4 highlights before giving you time for lunch and shopping on your own. Dresden is easy to get around on foot. The ride is 2.5 hours each way. We felt like it was a great value compared to going on your own by train.
We had Alix as our guide to Dresden, and she was terrific - if I give her 6 stars, I would - she was very knowledgeable, personable - we had horrible weather, but she really made the best of it. She was wonderful and, of course, Dresden was beautiful and fascinating!
We were with Alex guide.
She know his history about Berlin to Dresden very well.
We appreciated the journey.
It was a very enjoyable trip to Dresden and the guide was very knowledgable on the area
Excellent. Comfortable bus. Good guide. Just one minor complaint. it would be nice to have some additional time in Dresden. But overall, I would recommend the anybody interested in getting a feel for Dresden.
Fantastic. The tour guide was excellent and sensitive to the groups needs
A must see for anyone visiting Berlin or Prague. The coach ride was very comfortable and the guide very informative.
Great trip, knowledgeable guide. Some issues with dual guides English and Arabic having to share air time.......nothing with the guides, but tourists being rude and talking while the guide was.
Fantastic tour and great knowledge from Alex on the way to Dresden and while walking round.
Was also really good to wander round the city on your own to look at some of the sights in more detail or enjoy the local cuisine.
Well worth doing, if you want to experience more of Germany
Great tour, great memories, tour guide Shlomit is awesome, the way she narrated history was like watching movie, thumbs up and highly recommended.
This tour was fantastic. Our guide, Asaf, was full of interesting information so I learned a lot. Dresden is very beautiful. I really enjoyed having a guide at the beginning and then have a lot of free time to explore by myself.
I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour guide. Be aware that in one afternoon you can only get an overview of the historical city center and maybe see one museum. There is a lot to see there.
Great trip. Alex was an amazing guide. Dresden is a beuatiful city, definitely worth to see!
While is was a long day, it was worth it. Our guide, Alex, provided a great detailed description of the history of Dresden on the trip down and we had a great walking tour when we arrived. We were given plenty of free time to walk the city ourselves and visit the museums/galleries. A definite for those interested in seeing amazing architecture and knowing more about WWII history.
We booked this trip before we travelled to Berlin as to be honest, I didn't really think it's a place we would necessarily choose to go to for a city break, so thought a day trip was ideal.
Our Aussie guide Alex was brilliant and very knowledgeable, especially as she majored in history, so was able to give us loads of information with great relish, that we might never have found out! Even though the tour was over 10 hours long, Alex made the day very enjoyable and we had great fun. She took us to the most important places and explained about the devastation during WWII together the rebuilding of the city. Even though so much was destroyed the city still has a magical charm about it and the surrounding countryside is lovely, so maybe a longer trip could be incorporated next time. We had a few hours to ourselves to explore the city, which was really nice to do and to browse in the porcelain shops, which were fabulous.
We had an amazing day and would highly recommend it. It's most definitely well worth taking this tour and hopefully you'll get Alex as your guide.
We had a terrific day trip to Dresden and our guide certainly knew her stuff. The walking tour around Dresden was very informative and we learnt lots that we never knew before. I have to admit I had never heard of Viator before this trip and was a bit dubious as to whether they were going to be any good but the reviews from fellow travellers made me book, and we certainly were not disappointed. Thank you.

I liked how they organised things. We were quite many so they arranged two buses. I liked the guide Nadaf, he was very informative and funny. On the way he told us about Berlin, places we passed through and Dresden, combining history, geography and economy, so we could have a pretty good picture. We started in Dresden with a well paced walk, he took us through the old town, and then we had time on our own, which I spent visiting the Palace.
