What You Can Expect

Evening Berlin Food Tour by Bike

Enjoy hearty sharing platters

This 4.5-hour bike tour of Berlin and the Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood begins near the entrance of the TV Tower in Alexanderplatz, a large public square and transport hub in the center of Berlin. After a meet and greet with the guide, get fitted for the proper ride, strap on a helmet (if desired) and take to the streets.

Because there is so much to see in Berlin, this tour takes advantage of the many bike paths the city offers. Much of the tour takes place on bike paths and through parks. Also, Berlin is quite flat and easy to traverse by bicycle. With frequent stops to learn about the sites and to take pictures, it makes for a most enjoyable way to explore this fascinating place.

The easy 6-mile (10km) trek travels to three of Berlin’s best locally owned restaurants. Enjoy a progressive 3-course meal — smaller portions at each restaurant — with a variety of flavors, including some tasty Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine. Visit Am Wasserturm, Berlin’s watertower landmark, and its surrounding park area for some of the best places to eat and shop. Stop on the Oberbaum Bridge to take in a beautiful sunset and make a number of other stops at unique hot spots and learn about the historical sites there.

The tour concludes back in Alexanderplatz.

This trip was awesome and your guide Andrew was superb! This is a must go if you are staying in Berlin. If you want to explore Berlin on a byke and you dont want to listen too much of some history mambo jumbo then this is the tour for you! Went to three great restaurants and then there was such a good atmoshphere in the group that we went to a local pub after the tour. Great value for money as well.

I am a single in Europe on business for 6 months traveling by myself. Instead of eating dinner by myself again I decided to book this tour and see the sights while noshing my way through Berlin. It was a lot of fun to meet people and ride around on a beautiful night. If you are a hard core biker that is looking for a lot of biking, this is not the tour for you. For the rest, it is a lovely mix of food, fun and sightseeing. I loved seeing the parts of the Berlin wall and the pictures on the buildings in the former East Berlin of cold war scenes, since I was here in college in 1974 when it was Communistic. Our guide was great! extra plus - the bubbly on the bridge near Museum Island.

The absolute highlight of our time in Berlin. Not an event to learn a lot about the history of Berlin, but a time to experience the city and community. Our guide, Andrew, was the best! Full of tidbits of information, history knowledge and enthusiasm. Would do this trip in a heartbeat again.

It was such a fantastic tour. Being on the bicycle made me feel like a local just riding around.. there was a lot of food and I was stuffed at the end of it. It was well-organised and I highly recommend it. Our tour guide Kevin was phenomenal and he knew so much!

The foodie bike tour was amazing. It was a short overview of the city with some sight-seeing, and A LOT of great food. It was fun to try all the different amazing dishes that are offered in Berlin and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour and any other tour they offer!
