What You Can Expect
The eateries visited on the evening of your tour vary, but favorite options include a typical Berlin restaurant serving meaty German classics, a trendy wine bar, a Russian café, an Austrian restaurant and a Lebanese restaurant — a mix that aptly reflects Berlin’s multicultural cuisine. Most dishes are served on large, family-style sharing platters, so make sure you come hungry – a hearty appetite is obligatory! Drinks can be purchased at your own expense.
In between eating and chatting about food, admire the sights of Berlin as you pedal your way leisurely around town. Cycle along the Oberbaum Bridge, passing Berlin’s captivating street performers and gazing at the Berlin skyline as the sun goes down. From this bridge, you'll catch a beautiful sunset over the Spree River before pedaling your way back to the starting point, where your tour ends.
We had a wonderful time! Our tour guide was Carion, (I know I didn't spell that correctly, so sorry!). At any rate, he is from Ireland and was extremely knowledgeable about the city and the fun spots. It was really so much fun and we saw areas of the city that we normally would not have visited. The bikes are very easy to ride and the spots we ate at were super and food delicious. Loved the ice cream and the conversations with the other members of the tour. You must do this!!!
My husband and I enjoyed this tour. The bikes were great as was the tour guide. I would definitely sign up for this dinner tour in other cities where it is offered. The dum sum were delicious and the sunset just spectacular on the bridge. The whole experience was a lot of fun!
