JoAnn was a fantastic tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about the area and took us to a great variety of little food and drink places. I would do this exact tour again if I re-visit Berlin.
A good trip away from all the busy tourist places in Berlin. Got the chance to do what Berlin people do.
This was really fun! It was great to see all the graffiti art on the Berlin wall and around this area. The food was a great and varied taste of the Kreuzberg district - and very yummy! Highly recommend!!
Our guide Ioana was very friendly and informative. She gave an excellent insight into life in both East and West Berlin. Her knowledge of the local street art was very insightful while also enjoying a culinary feast for three hours. We enjoyed the tour so much we went back to Kreuzberg the next day.
We met our most wonderful guide Manfred for a beer and a chat. He had us at the word go. Manfred was full of humor and history. We walked through the district on a cold and rainy night but we had loads of laughs. The walk finished in a cosy indoor market and more beer
Amazing tour guide. Actually lived locally. Wish I remembered his name
We had an excellent tour of the East Side Gallery and an explanation of “The Brotherly Kiss.” We tasted curry wurst, gabelroll mops and beer while walking by some awesome street art.
The tour was excellent and it was fantastic to learn about Kreuzberg.
Loved Valentina our tour guide! A great way to see the city when first arriving here. Enjoyed this neighborhood very much. The food was very good and our guides knowledge of the neighborhood's history was top knotch. Highly recommend this tour if you like to see where the "in" crowd hangs out.
My 15 year-old grandson and I loved this tour! Seeing the Berlin Wall and hearing all the history surrounding it and the other places we walked past, was just what we wanted!!! Then we were treated to all the food from all the different nationalities! What a wonderful culinary experience!
This tour was wonderful. We were a party of 3 and the guide. I highly recommend this tour if you want to try new foods and see a district in detail.
My tour of Kreuzberg was everything I hoped it would be. Ioana was charming, informative, friendly and flexible. After finding out about my love of street art, she made sure that we saw some beautiful and challenging pieces throughout KRZBRG. It was a wonderful afternoon.
Excellent guide and wonderful variety of foods and drinks. Good value
This was the best food tour I have done. The guide, Manfred new his way around the local streets and at one point we sat with his Turkish barber drinking tea and talking politics. There were ample samples of food and drinks. I have never done a tour twice but if I were to Berlin I would do this one again. Very inexpensive considering all the samples. It was done at a very relaxed pace and the finishing time was quite fluid, with the tour ending about 5 hours after we started.
Really interesting tour, good to see an alternative side to Berlin away from the big tourist areas. But a couple of improvements - 1 build in time to look at the art on the wall disappointed we rushed away from that 2 FInd better food - the rollmop herrings are really not going to be liked by many people 3 don't walk through dodgy parks!!
Great tour to the amazing Kreuzberg District with fantastic restaurants, pubs and shops. I would be impossible to discover this on your own!
I loved the personal attention a got on my tour she was very welcoming and friendly and told my things that I don’t know about Berlin that I would not get from the internet would defiantly do it again.
Loved the tour and our guide. A cool area of Berlin you should not miss! Linda
Great to see parts of Berlin we would not normally have visited. The wall art on buildings was amazing.
Guide was excellent, very outgoing and provided lots of information. The food was less satisfying though.
Kreuzberg is not your typical German neighborhood. Our guide was personable and helpful. The pace was relaxed and the food samples reflect the ethnicity of the neighborhood. A bit more history of the area would have been nice to hear.
