With your voucher in hand, make your way to the front steps of the TV Tower in central Berlin, directly opposite the Alexanderplatz suburban railway (S-Bahn) station on the north side of the tower. Skip the long lines instead of queueing at the ticket desk and head to the souvenir shop, located on the left-hand side of the entrance hall. Then, hand in your voucher to the cashier to receive your entrance ticket.

Next, pass through the turnstile, go swiftly through the safety check and head directly to the elevator for a 40-second ride to the top. Then, take in the panoramic views of Berlin from the 360-degree observation platform. Discover the city from one of its most iconic landmarks and be amazed by the sights from 666 feet (203 meters)!

Enjoy a drink or snack (own expense) at Berlin's highest bar and enjoy the magnificent surroundings below, including Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom), Checkpoint Charlie, the Charlottenburg Palace and Brandenburg Gate.

Choose to visit the TV Tower either in the morning (before 11am) or at night (after 9pm), and stay as long as you like before taking the elevator down.

I took my daughter to Berlin to show her the city she was born in 40 years ago when I was stationed there during the Cold War. Entrance to the tower was very smooth, we were directed to the Premier Queue and bypassing the crowd and being first into the lift for the ascent. Arriving prior to 10am there was ample room at the top of the tower to walk around for the 360 degree view. Well worth booking ahead with Viator.
