The guide was very knowledgeable . The tour was very interesting. It was a small group which made it very pleasurable. I would take this tour again
We had a wonderful time, one of the best tours we've gone on in a long time. Great communication, Viator kept us informed and provided regular updates via email that were super clear and spot on. There were nine of us in our group and everything went like clock work. The tour guide(s) were well informed and had charming personalities, kept us entertained the whole time. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to see everything. I loved how much we saw in a relatively short period of time (half day tour was the way to go). Highly recommend Viator and encourage everyone to check out this tour = the best way to explore the Big Island!
Enjoyed this tour very much. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area. He was extremely organized. The tour went very smoothly and timely. Our guide took very good care of us throughout the tour. We knew exactly what to do and where to be at all times.
Francine ! What a wonderful guide !
With her baby bump !
We saw state park of old native huts where boats used to be stored .
Turtles/petroglifts/ and enjoyed our walk thru the woods on our way to Mt. Thunder coffee tour ---
Saw how beans grow/roast/ and are stored ....YES
A great tour - very informative and enjoyable. We highly recommend it.
On 11/3 I called KapohoKine Adventures to verify pickup time/location. They told me they didn't do the Half-Day Kona trip on Sunday. They had no record of our reservation. I told them the reservation number from Viator. They verified the email they sent to you with the no sunday info. They very kindly went out of their way to arrange a personal tour for the four us. Our guide Sand was incredible!
Tour was enjoyable, but spend too much time at the beach to start. Mountain Thunder coffee farm tour and botanical tour on private land were well worth the trip though.
The rainforest was good but the coffee plantation was not a good experience watching a video on bear grylls for half an hour was boring. The woman conducting the tour was aggressive and unpleasant.
