Really really good, way better than expected! The whole tour was in english, the sites were gorgeous and we tasted at least 6-7 types of wine!
Really great tour, went to 2 chateau and tasted some real good wines. The owner of the chateau were really nice and taught us how to taste those wine.
Great tour, 3 wineries, all different, which gave us an overview of Bordeaux.
Tour guide was excellent and tasting generous.
A great tour of two vineyards in the Médoc region of Bordeaux, with wine tastings and a great guide Brigitte. Such a great value for the price!
Wonderful tour of two different vineyards in Bordeaux Entre Deux Mers wine region. Our guide spoke english and was very accommodating to our different French language levels. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the exact processes of wine making from picking the grapes to the precise way to taste a small glass. She went into great depth about the fermentation process and the science behind making a good Bordeaux wine. I would definitely recommend this tour. A wonderful drive through the wine region in a comfortable coach bus and a perfect amount of time to see a bit of Bordeaux before the tour started and have a nice dinner after the tour ended.
I followed up my walking tour in the morning with a trip out to the wineries with guide Laurence. Very knowledgeable on wine and the area. We toured to wineries in the region one looking at whites and the second held a red wine talk and tasting. A good way to get a taste of the region if you only have a litlle time.
We were lucky enough to visit two chateaux in the Bordeaux region Entre Deux Mers. We tasted two wines at each winery, 2 dry whites, 1 sweet white and a tasty red. The guide and winery representatives were very informative and made the tours interesting and fun. We would highly recommend!
It was the highlight of our trip!Such a low price for a great tour. Well recommended!
Excellent trip. learnt a lot. the guide was great. Very knowledgable, friendly and fun.
Excellent tour guide and the wineries were not bad at all. This trip is definitely not to get tipsy since the wine is limited but its a great way to see Medoc with limited time. You can always buy a few bottles from each Chateau bring them back to the park by the tour center and enjoy it with your significant other. I highly recommend this tour.
Toured two vineyards and each one was wonderful and our guide was very informative. Only wish we could have spent more time wine tasting. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Knowledgeable guide with winning personality made this trip one to remember. First class chateau visits in a refined tasting room made our tasting experience remarkable.
Great wineries and a wonderful guide. I paid three times as much in italy and didn't know what we were going to get but we were very impressed. Great wines too!
For €34, we were not expecting much, but what a surprise. Don't expect to get drunk, but if you want to understand the wine making process and the history of wine in the Bordeaux region, this tour was excellent and highly recommended. We did the Medoc tour.
A great tour, VERY good value. The tour guide was excellent and provided an English translation when necessary. The vinyard owner and the tour guide had great personalities which made for a very comical tour at times!
One very small thing- the ticket says you can just take your print out but you actually needed to pop into the information shop to get an official printed version which we discovered just as the tour was leaving. This could probably be made clearer but that really is the only thing I would change!
This was a wonderful introduction to the Bordeaux region. We toured St. Emillion - both the ancient town and a vineyard. I'm so glad we were able to see the town and had a guided tour throughout. This is a bilingual tour (French and English). Definitely recommended!
It was really good. They take you to different vineyards so you don't just see wine, and at each vineyards they give you wine to taste and explain everything about how they make their wine. It is really fun, and since I was only in Bordeaux for the day, the time and length of the trip was perfect because it was long enough to enjoy the trip but not too long so that I wouldn't have been able to go. If you want a good-priced, fun trip, this is perfect!
The chateaux we visited and the owners were wonderful and provided an excellent education in how winde ir made , why it tastes like it does, everything. Our guide, who spoke english and frech beautifully, was very personable and full of great information that he shared throughout.
The tour was good - I got a lot of background and information on the wine process and enjoyed the wine tasting in the beautiful surrounds. I also appreciated the local information about the area. The one small bit of feedback (really very minor point) is that, while English is my mother tongue, I do understand a lot of French. I noticed that there were small bits of information that were left out in the English translation that those that didn't understand French might have liked to hear. Also, is it possible to include cheese with the wine or something small to eat?
