An excellent tour. Boris, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and hiss election of chateaux ensured that we had a cross section of both of wines and of types of wine making operations. Extremely good value for money and a very enjoyable day out.
A very pleasant and informative day. The guide was excellent, and at each stop we learned something new about winemaking and about the different methods used by three different wineries. Being able to taste some exceptional wines was a real treat as well.
We really lucked out with this trip. The weather wasn't great so it was a prefect day to leave the city and drink good wine. There were three of us in all which we could not have scripted and our guide, Marion, was absolutely incredible. She was so very knowledgeable about the area, the vineyards and the whole process involved in growing wine, harvesting, and everything after that. We were so fortunate to have her and you are extremely lucky to have her as an employee.
Excellent tour. Our guide Brist? was excellent. The wineries we went to were very good. Especially the last one, in the Margaux district. I learned so much from the hostess at the last winery. She was very knowledgable about the history of the vineyard as well S the production of the wine. It was a great day all around.
Have recommended it to friends who are visiting the Bordeaux area.
Excellent - enjoyable day, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any question, the wineries were very welcoming however the tour is probably better suited to people who are very keen on wine and the wine making process rather than a novice.
This tour was excellent. It included visiting 3 beautiful chateaux and the wine presented for tasting was sublime. We had lunch at one of those beautiful chateaux had to pay for the lunch. The overall tour guide Brice was extremely good and knowledgeable. Each winery had its own guides and they also were very good explaining the history of their winery and its specific wine making process. Highly recommended.
Excellent full day tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide called Matt, he took us to some beautiful chatteuxs in the medic area, very personal tour with 8 of us, I have come away with quite a bit of knowledge and I now know what to pick for a special occasion, I would recommend this trip to anyone.
What a great tour and host! We had a really great day going through a few of the chateaus and traveling the wine region. Our host was great and very polite. We really had a wonderful time.
Very good tour. Our guide was excellent and very helpful and explained things very well. The tour was well organised and the size was just right.
Both my wife and I enjoyed it tremendously. Please give our compliments to the Guide.

Delphine did an excellent job - the Chateaus we visited were exciting - a very nice start to our holiday
Marion was quite knowledgeable of the entire wine-making process and was extremely patient in answering my many questions. Her command of the English language is excellent and her cheerful and playful attitude was refreshing and most welcomed.
An amazing tour with an even better host. Marion was informative and knowledgable from the beginning. She was willing to answer questions with great detail and would even step in when the actual tour guides from the wineries were less than knowledgable.
Talk about small-group, my husband and I were the only ones signed up for the tour! It ended up being this amazing, private tour with our own personal driver and guide! It was absolutely wonderful. We were so spoiled. (But you have to understand that your tour might not be the same. You might share your van ride with a few strangers, but that can be super fun too.) Our guide, David Marin of Ophorus, was very professional and knowledgeable. He's a good, safe driver and gave us a thorough education about Medoc and indulged us by answering all the many questions we had about the region, French culture, etc...The van is comfy and air conditioned... The chateaux we visited were awesome, and one even had this museum with historical wine-making equipment and lots of information about how Bordeaux wine-making has evolved. We realized how all the wineries do things somewhat differently from each other, and really quite differently from Californian wineries. We even got to pass by and take some photos of the Rothschilds estates... Best aspects of doing this full-day tour are: not having to drive, having people explain everything and learning so much about history, wine, etc., and not having to make appointments, which especially are not easy to make for Sundays! (Many chateaux are closed on weekend.) This tour was a fantastic way to go, and I'd definitely do it again in a heartbeat.
My wife and I really enjoyed this tour of 3 chateaux in the Medoc region. Our guide Marion was very friendly and extremely informative.
It was well worth it to book a full day small group tour vs. a half day coach bus tour. Our guide, Mathieu, was very personable and knowledgeable. He entertained us with history, geography, and winemaking anecdotes during the drive to and from the region. The guides at each of the wineries we visited were also very informative and friendly. At each stop, Mathieu would fill them in on what we had experienced already so they would focus on a different aspect of the process or highlight differences in their own process compared to other wineries. We learned so much, not only about winemaking, but about the wine trade business. I feel we learned more than if we had visited wineries on our own.
A great (but long) day! Our guide Isabelle was very knowledgeable, and the Chateaux visited all very different even down to the wine making. The first Chateau was disappointing as the very first wine offered for tasting was sour as it had been sitting in an open bottle for lord knows how long. The susequent Chateaux (Lynch Bages and Desmiral) made up for it however.
The meeting point was easy to find and the guide on time. Word of advice - the tour is likely to run over time simply because there is a lot of ground to cover.
Awesome Trip. Isabelle was very knowledgable. We enjoyed the chateaus and learned a lot along the way. Highly recommended.
Boris, our guide was very informative about the Medoc and very accommodating. We went to three very different wineries and enjoyed them all. Even though we booked just one day Boris arranged for us to visit another winery the next day as well as a wine shop is Saint-Emillion.
This was an exceptional tour and enjoyed the drive through the country side and extra time for lunch. The three wineries/castels were amazing. This trip was well planned our for tourists.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and can recommend it to anybody visiting the area, interested in the art of producing some exceptional wines. Sarah our guide was most knowledgable, friendly and helpful.
We visited 3 wineries with extensive tours and wine tasting, with a break for lunch. What impressed us most was the fact that this wasn't a tour with a view of selling us wine, rather an educational experience.
We had a wonderful tour. Our guide waist extremely knowledgeable about the wine industry he made the tour kex exceptional
Excellent tour with both wineries providing thorough presentations and ample sampling. The sampling at the The Winery and the food were top class. Tour is great value for money. The only disappointment was that the advert on Viator detailed a gift of a wine bottle stopper for each person which was not provided at the end of the tour.
Both wine trips were excellent. Our guide Marie was wonderful and I feel we were lucky to have her for 2 days. I recommend the wine tours to everyone.
This was a great day tour which covered several major areas of the Medoc and the first stop and rapid lesson in Medoc wines was excellent as an introduction. Subsequent stops at vineyards and tastings were really good. The lunch stop at Puillac was OK but less so if you wanted a snack rather than a restaurant meal as there was only a small bakery which had almost run out of food and it was Sunday so no supermarket/store was open - just seaside restaurants. We had a great day and enjoyed the background information and professionalism of our guide Sarah.
