Small-Group Medoc Wine Tour from Bordeaux
The Médoc produces some of the most renowned red wines in the Bordeaux wine region and offers some of the best wine-tasting opportunities in the whole of France. Start your half-day tour with a wine tasting at a prestigious classified growth chateau known for its high-quality wine. During your tasting, learn about the wine-making process and techniques involved.
Back in your comfortable minivan, enjoy the drive along the Route des Chateaux (the ‘Castle Road’), which will take you past some beautiful French chateaux, including the iconic Margaux, as well as Palmer. As you admire the scenic views, your expert guide will explain the fascinating history of the chateaux in the Médoc region.
Arrive at your next stop, another classified growth chateau, where you will enjoy a wine-tasting and learn more about the estate, the wine-making process and the different wines of the region. Relax on the drive back to Bordeaux, admiring the beautiful countryside once more.
The estates visited will either be from the Classified Growth or Crus Bourgeois appellations.

The tour guide picked us up 30 minutes late, she was harried and rushed during the entire tour. She rushed us because she said she was late, she continued to rush us through the tastings and then told us we did not have enough time to drive down the road of the Chateaus in Medoc, which was one of the main reasons we booked the tour. She rushed back and dropped us off 15 minutes early. The result was our tour was cut short by 45 minutes and because of this one of the main aspects of the tour was omitted. all of this, through no fault of our, but because she was late and wanted to be back early. I intend to ask for a refund of part of the fee that I paid for this tour since the tour was incomplete.
