We had a lovely day in the Médoc region with our fantastic guide, Claire. We got to go behind the scenes at each winery and learned all about Bordeaux wine and how to detect flavors and aromas during our tasting. Recommended for wine lovers!
A nice drive through the region. Tour guide was great. We learnt a lot about French wine. We loved the stop at St Emillion.

Interesting and educational wine tasting tours with highly personalised service in a small group situation.
Loved this tour. We did the half day St Emilion tour. Our guide was lovely and the Chateauxs we went to were very interesting, both quite different to each other. The town of St Emilion is gorgeous and our guide had a wonderful knowledge of the area without boring us to tears. Would highly recommend.
this tour was great. our guide Anna was just brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful. The content and duration of the tour was perfect.A very enjoyable day.
Amazing tour! Our guide (cannot remember her name) was excellent. So knowledgable and really genuinely interested and keen to educate and take us around. The small group of 8 was perfect as well, it was a great group and we all got on well. The experience was one of the best on my whole trip. I 100% recommend!!
We loved our tour! Pierre, the founder of Vinobordo, was our charming, very informative, and helpful tour guide to two chateaux and their vineyards and to the picturesque medieval town of St. Emiliion. We had a wonderful afternoon and consider it to have been time and money well-spent.Though I use a wheelchair or at times a cane, my needs were well accommodated and I was able to see nearly all the sights.
This tour is a must for everyone. Was really a great experience with a very knowledgeable and professional guide that also had a flair for entertainment. We really, really enjoyed it and learned a great deal. A must for any American who thinks they know something about wine. Absolutely excellent.
Great tour, very small group, very good guide. I will definitely recommend it!
Hats off to Stephane on 16 May. He's extremely knowledgeable of wines and an amazing tour guide. Was able to attend to the special needs of one of us while engaging us all in great English conversation. He taught us about how this region produces wines, taught us how to blend them, and led us in tastings at two different chateaux. He then proceeded to lead us on a great history tour of the city of St. Emilio. He kept us totally engaged for 5-1/2 hours. A wonderful afternoon was had by all of us. I highly recommend him and I love the fact that the group size is limited to eight.
It was one of the best tours we have had in France. Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and speaks very good English. St. Emilion is a spectacular area and we enjoyed the trip very much. Highly recommended for everyone. Thumbs up!
First, and most importantly, François was a terrific guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining, and I highly recommend him as a tour guide. The two locations selected for the tour were very interesting, and it was wonderful to meet the owner of Chateau Lamarque, in her living room while tasting her excellent wines. The Gruaud-Larose tour was very comprehensive, and again, the selection of wines for tasting and the cheese/charcuterie offered was excellent. I would love to take the St-Emilion tour next time.
We had a lovely day with our tour guide. We toured the Medoc region and had a tasting at two different chateaux. Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations in Bordeaux. The tour was fun and relaxed and very informative!
This was tremendouly fun and educational. Included a side visit to Chateau Margaux's vines. Also included tasting at Chateau Gruaud Larose. Learned about the viticulture as well as the winemaking. i would totally recommend this to anyone traveling to Bordeaux with a little time to spare.
