I loved our class! Our "teacher" was very informative about French wines which really allowed us to make informed decisions when driving the countryside on our own. And the cheese cellar was a-mazing! I didn't want to leave!

Very professional guide. She is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the history, geography and wines of Bordeaux. The wine tasting session is very well-explained. We blind-tasted three red wines from Bordeaux. The cheese cellar is located at the basement of the restaurant (5min walk from Tourist office). Lots of selections. Great guide, great tour.

The Wine and Cheese Introduction was the best I have ever had, and I have done quite a few of these. I am not exactly a novice to wine but I wanted to learn more about Bordeaux wines and that I did. In fact Brigitte conducted such a fabulous "class" that I commented to her that this was the most comprehensive and informative wine tasting I have ever done. Brigitte herself is super knowledgeable of her region and its wines and imparted this information to us in such a manner that was easy to understand and at the same time exciting.
The wine shop where she held the class was filled with a wonderful selection of regional wines and had a fabulous cheese room in the basement. We got to try as many of the cheeses as we wanted to; I fell in love with one of the cheeses and asked the owner where I could get it and he was so gracious; he actually went to the cheese room and cut a piece of the cheese and gave it to me. This event was definitely great value for money and exceeded my expectations on every level.
I enjoyed my time in Bordeaux and I have already made plans to return in the Spring.

This event was quite enjoyable once we arrived at the restaurant, however there was an awkward start while the tour guide became increasingly irritated that she did not have the same number of participants as she had tickets for and kept demanding that those who had not provided tickets hand them in. No one seemed to be in that category and we stood around on the pavement wondering what was expected. Once she settled down about that and moved on, the tour was enjoyable and the information given was useful.
