Despite the snow, the drivers were informative and funny - gave a lot of insight into the history of the places where the trolley stopped and of Boston itself.
The staff who work for this company were great. I accidentally left my camera at Stop 6 and didn't have time to pick it up the same day. They transferred it to Stop 1, which was closer to my hotel, so that I could pick it up the next morning. The tour was a great overview to those new to Boston.
The trolley tour is awesome! And crackerjack is the best guide, try get him if you take the tour. Was great seeing Fenway park, Harvard uni, Boston tea party etc. definetly do it if your in Boston on a short stay!
This was a great way to view the city of Boston, to see the sights and get a lay of the land. Recommend one do this on the first or second day. That way you can see the sites briefly and then spend more time at the ones that interest you. We did this in New York too. Definitely recommend.
I enjoyed the trolley tour. My only wish would be that the trolley would have run a bit later than last pick up at 4 PM especially in the downtown area.
this was a really good tour,It was great value for money and all the drivers were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining,I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visitingBoston
My husband and I had only 1 day to see the sights of the Boston area and were told that this was the best way to get around to see those sights. We were not disappointed. Some sights were more interesting to us than others, so we were able to stop and see those without wasting time on the not so interesting places. The ability to hop on and off and see things at our own pace was a perfect solution for small window of time to discover Boston. By doing the hop on hop off method, we had 3 different tour guides and each one was excellent. They all three had a good knowledge of the historical significance to the stops and interjected their own personality into the anecdote. We did not have to wait over 15 minutes for another trolley to pick us up to continue our tour. It was cold the day of our tour, so this was a great for us! One thing that impressed me was that if a driver was unable to pick up all of the people waiting to board his/her trolley, he radioed a dispatcher of the number of people he had to leave at the stop. We were told that other trolleys were in and about the town for the sole purpose of picking up those waiting passengers during peak/crowded times. That is great customer service!
Driver gives a running commentary about the sights. The tour is potentially an all day entertainment. You can make the full circle, and then repeat to stop at attractions that interest you. When you're ready to move on, just hop on the next passing trolley.
We loved the convenience of the Hop On Hop Off Trolley tour. The busses run every 30 minutes so you're able to enjoy a stop and get right back on a trolley. The drivers were funny and very knowledgeable. We had a great time in Boston.
San Francisco what a fantastic city, your first day tour helped us really appreciate the city for the three days we stayed in town, Many thanks again.
