Each tour starts on Boylston Street where you'll receive an orientation session to get you comfortable on your Segway, a unique electric device that allows you to cover more ground than on foot. Once you’re ready, follow your guide through the streets of Boston on a 1-hour or 2-hour sightseeing tour. Along the way, your guide stops for photo opportunities and entertains you with stories and facts about Boston’s rich history.
This morning, afternoon or evening 1-hour tour shows you some of Boston’s best scenic, cultural and historical highlights. Starting out on Boylston Street, follow your guide through Back Bay as you cross over Newbury Street and make your way to Commonwealth Avenue. Pass by numerous statues while gliding through one of Boston’s most beautiful neighborhoods, full of impressive architecture including Victorian brownstones.
Then make your way over to Cambridge, traversing the Harvard Bridge for a tranquil ride alongside the Charles River as you absorb views of the city.
Direct your Segway back into Boston via the Longfellow Bridge and coast through Beacon Hill, passing the Boston Common (aka The Common) and Public Garden as you find your way back to Boylston Street.
This morning or late-afternoon 2-hour tour takes you from one side of Boston to the other, showing you city highlights as well as hidden gems. Leaving from Boylston Street you’ll pass over Newbury Street, both located near iconic sites such as the Boston Common, Public Garden, Granary Burying Ground and Massachusetts State House (also known as the New State House).
Glide over various stretches of the Freedom Trail — a 2.5-mile-long (4-km) route past historically significant sites through downtown Boston — and ride through Chinatown while making your way to Boston Harbor.
Listen as your guide shares Boston’s history, from the Revolutionary War to current events, as you pass notable architectural landmarks and lovely neighborhoods on your return to Boylston Street.
