Your tour starts on Commercial Street in Boston’s North End district. You’ll be given an orientation session to get you comfortable on your Segway, a unique electric device that allows you to cover more ground than on foot. Once you’re ready, follow your guide through the streets of Boston on a 1-hour or 2-hour sightseeing tour. Along the way, your guide will stop for photo opportunities and entertain you with stories and facts about Boston’s rich history.
1-Hour Boston Harborwalk Tour
This morning, afternoon or evening 1-hour tour shows you some of Boston’s best scenic, cultural and historical highlights. Starting out down Commercial Street, head from one end of the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway to the other and then cross over to the beautiful Boston Harborwalk, a public walkway that follows the edge of piers, wharves, beaches and shoreline around Boston Harbor.
Ride toward the Moakley Courthouse, stopping to visit Fan Pier and view the city along Boston Harbor. After looping around, ride under the archways beneath Rowes Wharf and continue back along the Harborwalk to Compass Point. Your tour concludes back on Commercial Street.
2-Hour Boston, Charleston and Cambridge Tour
This morning or late-afternoon 2-hour tour goes beyond Boston and takes you into the nearby historic cities of Charleston and Cambridge. Starting out down Commercial Street, pass the TD Garden (known locally as the Boston Garden), which is home to the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins sports teams. Get up-close views of the Zakim Bridge and Charlestown Bridge and then head over the Charles Gridley Locks to Charlestown.
In Charlestown, visit the USS Constitution -- the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat -- and the Bunker Hill Monument, a US National Historic Landmark commemorating the Battle of Bunker Hill during the Revolutionary War.
Cruise through Paul Revere Park and under the Zakim Bridge to Cambridge, a historic city full of beautiful parks. Learn about the history of Cambridge, named after the University of Cambridge in England, and pass Kendall Square before crossing the Longfellow Bridge back to Boston.
You’ll then take a brief sightseeing tour of Boston. See Beacon Hill, Boston Common and the Massachusetts State House (also known as the New State House). Ride through the Financial District and pass the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway, viewing some of Boston’s most beautiful structures along the way. Your tour ends back on Commercial Street.
