We had a fantastic day out in search of the humpbacks and what a surprise we got when we came across 4 or five of them, all breaching and doing their thing! The crew on board were extremely knowledgeable and no question was too much for them. It was a pretty cold day on 20 Oct and the boat goes at quite a speed ... very exciting. We stayed on top for a while but then ventured inside to keep warm. Take hat, gloves and wear body warmers. My husband had his GPS on the whole time and we did a 99 mile round trip! All in all a fabulous day and amazing breaching whales who gave us all a wonderful show.
Smooth tour and saw a number of whales which was great.
Difficult to hear the commentary on the outside deck.
This is a must see for anyone who wants to be amazed. We saw at least ten whales. Don't miss thi great deal.
We took the noon tour on October 7th. It was a bit crowded but I think most everyone who wanted to got a chance at the rail and exciting views of at least a dozen or so humpback whales. Lots of fluke action and the crew provides interesting facts about the whales, most of whom they know by name and characteristics.
Stupendous trip!!!Five whales with lots of breaching and tale slapping. My trip was very rocky with lots of motion sick people and the staff was just fabulous with everyone.
I would advise making sure to take a motion sickness pill before you go just in case so you can enjoy the trip. The company handled everything from tickets to the cruise itself perfectly. Thanks for making my trip!!
Fantastic trip all round the whales were all around the boat on a beutiful October day the whole trip is highly recommended .
One of the best sightings of the season. Saw a steady group of 10-12 whales close to the boat diving and feeding. It was awesome! At least 20 whales off in the distance blowing mist. The crew was adorable, enthusiastic and sounded very knowledgable about the whales we were seeing. Would definitely recommend!! Definitely the highlight of our son's visit!
Great trip, though I wish there were a bit fewer people. The crew was very knowledgeable and we saw whales! These Viator tours and so simple to book and great to have these awesome tours planned in advance.
Amazing views - saw a bunch of whales. Our guide was very knowledgable and was thrilled with the number of whales we got to see! Bring a hat and a jacket - very fast boat and it's windy out there! We were gone longer than the 3 hours because we couldn't pull away from the whales! My family of 5 would recommend this highly. P.S. Arrive at least 45 min ahead of time to get a good spot in line - you'll get first pick of spots on the boat.
Apart from the choppy waters, which couldn't be helped, this tour was brilliant. Saw lots of whales so close to the boat.
It was really awesome to see the whales out in the ocean waters.
The crew of the Aquarium whale watch tour was amazing. Hannah really knew her stuff!
The day we booked our trip was really windy. We started out but had to turn back due to high seas. We received a rain check that NEVER expires. We were able to go the next day and we saw 7 humpback whales in the wild! AMAZING!
Absolutely loved the tour! Saw 11 humpback whales and 12 minke whales!! Got the most amazing images.... the captain made sure he got very near to where the whales were!! This tour is a must if you're visiting Boston... allow 4 hrs for the tour and be aware that it takes you about 1.5 hrs to get there, and the ride is quite bumpy. Accept the ginger sweets offered by the crew if you think you might have motion sickness.
On time, polite, respectful, informative, and we saw plenty of whales!
The best trip yet. We saw so many Whales. Raising their heads out of the water with their mouths open, Slapping their tales. And many of them had babies with them. Will definitely go again.
Awesome, saw pod of about 50 dolphins, and family of humpback whales...crew was informative and very hospitable
We had a wonderful adventure and was lucky enough to see over 20 whales!! We were told it was one of be best days of the season for sightings. It was educational experience as well. During the trip and during the sightings we were given helpful informative information. Loved the entire experience and it will not be forgotten!
We saw Whales!!!! We saw 2 adultsNile and Pitcher and a baby!!!!!! Just beautiful and an amazing experience!!
Brilliant we saw 9 different whales , please not this is a long trip 1.5hrs to get to site. Just a note if your sealers are not good . But try and go well worth the distance the whales came within 10/15ft brilliant amazing
A sea a little bumpy but a lot of whales. A lucky day :. Really great !
We have been to Boston several times now and this was no different, a great trip. Whale watching is the best most exciting water adventure.
We saw 5 whales, a complete family. Marvelous experience! Specially, when the whales jump and take out almost completely his body from water. Unforgettable!
