No guarantee you will see the whales and no refund if you don't. We were lucky and saw several whales, but bear in mind you may not see any. Definitely worth the risk, though, as the whales come very, very close to the ship and are an amazing sight. The ship does roll quite a bit when it stands still, so walking around deck is tricky. Hope this hasn't put you off going, but important information to know, I thought.

Wonderful! Worth it to go in the middle of the week.

Big big boat makes it comfortable with so many people on board and it is less rock and roll from the swells. Good commentary from the naturalist.

Wish they had shown the whales on the video screen. Since I could not move around once on the ship I missed a lot of the views.

A trip well worth doing. Beautiful weather and well organised. We saw several hump back whales at really close quarters. A sight of a lifetime.

Great crew. Excellent commentary aboard ship on the life and habitat of whales. Special thanks to the Captain for giving equal time to both sides of the ship to observe them. Had a great time. Thank you.

Even though the fog was heavy in the harbor, we saw 8 or 10 humpback whales out in the feeding waters. What a great trip!

It was a beautiful day to be out on the water. The guide really knew & cared about the whales. We would definitely recommend this trip to everyone. Bring a camera to try and catch some shots of the whales!

When we rang to confirm the time as requested, we were told there was no reservation for us but to just go along and we could get on. When we arrived 40 minutes before the cruise, we were told it was full and we would have to wait 2 hours until the next cruise. This really messed up our plans for the day as we could not go far from the harbour. Once we set sail, there were far too many people on board with very few chairs on deck, which meant that we had a very uncomfortable one hour plus sail to the whales and the same back. If you went inside, the people blocked your view by standing in front of the windows. We did see some whales, which was fantastic, but as it is understandably not possible to predict when and where, it was a massive free-for-all when they were spotted. Many of our sightings were either on tiptoes, through our video held in the air, or while being pushed into the railings. The health & safety implications must be huge!!! Oh, and don't use the toilets!! But the whales were beautiful.

Was OK, but vessel was over-crowded and majority of time is getting to destination and back. If you want to see whales, go to Maui!

Only saw two whales very briefly, disappointed.

We had a storm in the ocean, therefore we all got sick on the boat due to the very rough waters. But I'm sure that if we would have had nice weather, we would have really enjoyed ourselves.

Unfortunately the guide was standing in the way of any pictures I could get of the whales.

The waves were too high. Everyone that went with me became extremely sea sick.
