Phil was our tour guide on the island. He was extremely knowledgeable! It was such a memorable trip!
We had a great time and our guide Ken was very informative - I highly recommend adding the 3 hour - tour of Martha's Vineyard - I didn't realize how large the island was and without a vehicle there is no way you could see everything.
It was awesome! We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the ferry for Marthas Vineyard. We took the three hour tour offered (much recommended because you need the transportation to get around the whole island). So much interesting history! I would highly recommend this trip!
I really enjoyed this trip to Martha's Vineyard. The driver taking us to the ferry gave us some commentary on the way, and was a really lovely guy Chris. The mini bus tour on the island was incredibly informative, the woman driver was a 5th generation islander and had lots of knowledge. It didn't feel rushed, and we had time at the end to wander round the shops etc before catching the ferry back.
It was a very enjoyable trip. The your guide was very good and provided great detail on Martha's Vineyard. Would highly recommend.
So glad I decided to go on this tour. A beautiful place, not to be missed. Lovely, knowledgable guides, comfortable transit and a great group of people.
It was a cold and rainy day but I didn't feel it. I was so hypnotized by the beauty of the towns. The tour guide with her soft words and never a negative comment made me feel so relax. If it had been a warm and sunny day, I may not have been so bewitched.
Loved this tour of Martha's Vineyard. Had a great tour driver to and from the island and a great tour driver around the island.
Great day trip, first stop in Cape Cod before boarding the ferry to Marthas Vineyard. I chose to take advantage of the bus tour around the Island and so glad I did! It's a very, very large Island
And there is no better way to see it. Had lunch at the black dog and enjoyed an amazing lobster roll with the wonderful group of friends I made in our small group. We had our picture taken together at lunch and just had a great time with lots of laughter. The guide was a local and a real estate agent so he really knew the ins and outs of the island. Lots of stops for some great pictures and souvenir shopping, my next trip out I will take the Cape Cod tour
We had a great time. It rained heavily on and off but our guides quickly adapted the tour.
Fun, Fun, Fun. Bus and ferry was fun, Met nice people. Good way to see the island with adding the island tour,
We had such an incredible day seeing everything! Our guide, Allison, was so energetic and so accommodating to anything we needed. We were also amazed at her memory as we went by it all. She was so thorough on sharing what was there for us to see that we couldn't believe it!! She was fantastic and we would highly recommend this tour!
Absolute highlight of my trip, this was such a wonderful day out. Our tour driver was friendly, funny and knew the island like the back of his hand. Great experience and a fantastic way to see the whole island.
Well worth paying the extra for the 3 hour island tour as it gave us chance to see a lot more of the island. Would definitely recommend this trip.
The trip to Martha's Vineyard was awesome and our tour guide great!!!!
Easy trip to book online In Scotland but once I got to Boston it proved difficult to confirm pick up point as I did not have a mobile phone with me. Fortunately I had brought my laptop and my Hostel did have Wi-Fi so I was able to bring up some details and Hostel made call for me. First driver from Boston was a wealth of knowledge and kept us all entertained on our ride to the ferry. Our Martha's Vineyard host was off a local Indian tribe and a wealth of knowledge and she told us just so much interesting information about how Martha's Vineyard grew through 1000's of years to present day. About the rich place it was when whalers lived here and how so many wealthy people vacate here nowadays. Despite the wealth that visits this island and the millions of dollars many have paid to live here, there is still an air of laidback living and somewhat neglect around the island. Those with power and money seem to be pushing out those families who have lived here for many hundred's of years but can no longer afford to live here. Sad but so common the whole world over when rich people descend on a location and try to make it their own.
Amazing trip to MV, great organisation and highly recommend. Comfortable on all forms of transport and ample refreshments. So pleased we did the three hour tour of the Island. Very interesting and funny.
