What You Can Expect

New England Coastal Tour from Boston

New England Seacoast

Begin this day trip along the New England coast in Boston, with available hotel pickup from select downtown hotels. Climb aboard an air-conditioned luxury coach and prepare for a scenic and educational adventure to remember.

Travel through the rocky region of North Shore between Boston and New Hampshire. This is an important historic, cultural and economic region of Massachusetts that includes the cities of Salem, the site of the famous Salem witch trials, and Gloucester, home to a number of notable poets (like T.S. Eliot) and the site where A Perfect Storm was written and partially filmed.

Across the Maine border, visit the town of Kennebunkport for lunch and leisure. Historically a shipbuilding and fishing village, the town has been a popular summer colony and seaside tourist and resort destination for more than 100 years.

The journey up the coast also features views of the Cape Neddick Lighthouse, commonly known as Nubble Light, one of the most famous lighthouses in the country, and a drive past Walker Point, the summer home of President George H.W. Bush.

Note: This seasonal tour only operates from May to October.

I had a great time on the bus tour led by David. He was informative about the places we drove through and visited, and he allowed us sufficient time to explore each stop. This was a great introduction to the New England coast, and I look forward to going back again someday.

Fantastic. Our driver was encyclopedic and the spots chosen were beautiful and relaxing. We also had plenty of time to ourselves and a chance to grab some food. I would do this again.

Our driver was excellent and spoke clearly in English! He had awesome stories about the areas we drove by or stopped at to stretch our legs and take photos. Enjoyed our 3 hour break in Kenybunkport, ME where we ate lobster and did our share of shopping. This was one of our highlights on our vacation!
