I am not a Christian, but the majestic beauty of the statue of the Redeemer inspired spiritual joy in me, as it seemed to inspire in most visitors, young and old alike. Apart from being a wonderful piece of artistic engineering, the Redeemer statue is unique and absolutely fantastic.

Nice train ride to the top of Corcovado. At the top where Christ the Redeemer statue stands, it was too crowded and many tourists were irreverent. No fault of the tour but detracted from the experience. Overall good value and well worth doing.

It was quite an ordinary tour. The pick up bus took ages to pick all guests from different hotels and the tour guide did nothing extra than what you could have done yourself. We recommend taking a local hotel taxi to the base of the Corcovado and taking the train yourself.

Corcovado Mountain is an excellent tour attraction, but I was not impressed with the tour. We spent an extended time gathering different parties together for the tour, and the tour guide gave an unimpressive presentation. I would not take this tour again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.
