a day well spent. I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Vancouver.
Victoria and Butchart gardens lived up to their reputation it was a wonderful days excursion
Absolutely recommend this tour as great way to get to Victoria for the day from Vancouver. Saves hassles, tunnel traffic, fares/tolls and parking issues. Best tour of our entire trip! Our young lady driver/tour guide (Samantha) was very best we have encountered. Bright, articulate, funny and cooperative. She knew her history and facts plus the best ways to maximize our on-foot free time. Superb driver. Other guides may be good too, but we'd actively try to pre-coordinate having Samantha as tour lead again. Kudos also to Landsea Tours (Chelsea) for pre-tour coordinations.
Everything went well on this trip. Peter was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Only downside of the trip was that we could only have 90 minutes in downtown Victoria.
The tour was very enjoyable. The guide was great. Arranging the shuttle service from different hotels is a great advantage . All the drivers were very polite. The instructions were very clear. It was very nice that the guide allowed us to take another shuttle to spend more time in the gardens. Overall it was very convenient and comfortable .It is worth taking this tour.
Trip to Vancouver was fantastic and weather was perfect. Compare 75 at night and 85 in the daytime to Houston at 95 and humid.
We took the Butchart Gardens tour to Victoria and it is a DON'T MISS trip. Picked up at the hotel, Scenic ferry ride to Victoria (had the breakfast buffet on board and got fantastic front window seat and a great breakfast). The gardens are everything advertised and more. Highly recommend the trip. Three hours in Victoria was also enjoyable and my wife liked the shopping.
our tour was most enjoyable as our guide Rob was excellent with a very friendly and entertaining personality.
He was most helpful in arranging a wheelchair for my wife and directing us thru the garden.
I would highly reccommend your tour.
A really interesting trip, beautiful scenery and very helpful and informative guide
We have looked forward to our Butchart Garden Tour for many months and it was more then we hoped. We were on schedule at all times and treated with respect at all times. Our guide was very informative and there were no surprises except the exceptional beauty of the gardens.
I loved the tour. The guide was excellent, informative, and very helpful. The itinery and timing was amazing. I would love to do it again.
A great but long day of tour which we truly enjoyed sightseeing the city of Victoria and the Butchart Gardens! So glad we did this wonderful tour - very convenient to be picked up at our hotel and then to ride in the bus which got on the ferry boat to Vancouver Island. Although the tour guide tried to be helpful, we 4 Deaf people wished there was a sign language interpreter for us. We know we missed out a lot of valuable information during the bus ride. We did make a request in advance for an interpreter, but we were told that none of the tour guides can sign. In the USA, an interpreter would have been hired out of an agency to provide the services for the Deaf.
Outstanding tour. Victoria and Butchart Gardens were beyond my expectations. I wanted to take pictures of every flower. There was some much going on in Victoria there was not enough time to take it all in. Makes me want to come back and stay there for a week.
I want to commend our bus driver Michael. He went above and beyond his duties. My wife left her camera at the Steam Ship restaurant but did not know it till we were halfway back to Vancouver. Mike called the restaurant and verified that they did have her camera. Mike made arrangements with a co-worker to pick it up the next day and deliver it to our friends who were staying over an extra day in Vancouver. We want to thank Michael for going the extra mile. Thanks, Jack Werner, Baton Rouge, La.
