Why Our Insiders Chose This Tour
In the early 1900s, Brooklyn was home to some 40 breweries. Today, a new group of beer lovers are opening new breweries, beer retail shops and bars that celebrate the district's long history of good beer. Your guide, a brewer, shows you the best spots for a cold one.
What You Can Expect
From there, you will walk over to see a group of 19th-century buildings that once housed Brooklyn's best brewing operations. Learn some history from your guide about the German immigrants who once lived, and brewed, in this section of Brooklyn. Then stop by the Most Holy Trinity–St. Mary, a picturesque church that was built in the mid-18th century.
Great tour to see the operation of the Brooklyn Brewery, taste a bunch of different beers, learn some of the history of Brooklyn breweries.
Well worth the time and cost.
It was pretty freezing outside but our tour was let in early which was great. Our guide Josh was really knowledgeable and had a great enthusiasm for the brewery. It helped also that the staff member who gave the tour was so funny and very informative. We had some great beers at the brewery itself, then onto amazing pizza and a few other bars and more beers. Cannot recommend this highly enough as you also get to experience a taste of Brooklyn which you might not otherwise see and places you might never know about
Great tour and great beer. Our guide Josh was fantastic. Witty, informative, passionate and obviously loves his job. Met some lovely people during our few hours tasting beer and touring Brooklyn and had lots of fun. Thank you to all involved. Keep up the good work!
My husband really enjoyed it which is what it was all about

We were very surprised to learn that my sons first appartment in Brookline was in the original brewery neighborhood.
I would absolutely take another tour from you company.
totally exceeded my expectations! birthday gift for hubby and he had an awesome time, we both did. I've already recommended it to my friends. loved it!!! A+++
A tour, not just of the brewery itself but of the brewing district of early Brooklyn. The sociology of the brewing industries effects and contributions to community development is fascinating. Then read Colm Tiobin's "Brooklyn" if you are interested in the early immigrants coming alive for you.
This was a birthday present for my beer-loving friend and we both loved it. The area was beautiful, and the pizza for lunch was delicious. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was a great day. I definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to enjoy a few hours walking around Brooklyn and trying different beers.
