What You Can Expect

Brooklyn Highlights Bike Tour with East River Ferry Ride

Enjoy a Scenic Ferry Ride Across the East River

Rise and shine with an 11 am meet up in Williamsburg’s iconic McCarren Park. Meet your group before hopping aboard a lightweight, vintage-looking bike that’s made specifically for urban cruising. Get hooked up with a walkie-talkie and helmet headset that insures you’ll stay in touch with your guide (and your crew) all day long. Colder months include gloves and poncho to beat the winter chill.

Take a scenic trip through Brooklyn neighborhoods like Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO. A leisurely pace and a group cap of eight means there’s plenty of individualized attention from your guide, who will share stories and tips about the borough as you ride.

Several stops along the way offer a unique opportunity to gain insider insight into the local history and popular culture that have made Brooklyn famous. Learn about the top food joints, beer pubs and boutiques while you sample (own expense) the famed Frank Pinello’s Best Pizzas. Its brick-oven pies are a Brooklyn staple and are sure to be a highlight on this neighborhood adventure. Warm up with a free cup of locally roasted coffee at Brooklyn Roasting Company during winter months.

Finally, get off the ground and head up into the sky with a visit to Brooklyn Grange. Known as the world’s largest rooftop soil farm, it covers a full 1.5 acres of land 11 stories off the ground that looks out over Brooklyn and Manhattan (not open in winter months).

The Brooklyn bike tour ends with a leisurely ferry ride along the East River from the DUMBO waterfront back to Williamsburg.

We loved it. Catalina our guide was amazingly passionate about Brooklyn, and very knowledgeable. Her personality and humour shone, we had the best time.

Fun! Good way to see the city and you don't have to be great on a bike! Tour guide Lisa was fabulous!

Firstly, I had to rebook my Bike Tour which was no problem and took the tour a week later on the 10th. Unfortunately the rain was relentless for most of the day which mainly affected my photos but certainly not the tour.
I think our guides name was Matthew (sorry if I have that wrong) and he was fantastic.
The tour far exceeded my expectations. Our group was small, the bikes were clean, comfortable and new and the ponchos provided were brilliant. We each had walkie talkies which meant you didn't miss any of the commentary even if you were a bit slow! The ride itself was easy, I felt safe and the group all looked out for each other.
The sights, information, history, views, stories were all fabulous. I'm not sure if my favourite part was the roof top market garden (incredible), the ride out on the pier, the ferry ride or the fabulous hot pizza and later hot coffee much needed after cycling in the rain! I wish I had more time to take another of their tours, especially the new Brunch Tour.
This tour of Brooklyn was one of the highlights of my visit to NYC, thank you.

Great tour! Young people are organising these tours and that shows. You get to see a different side of New York as you take a tour through Brooklyn, which is obviously an underrated burough. Our guide was very enthousiastic and took is to some places you wouldn't visit on your own. Value for money!

This is a great tour - it was quite wet the day I went but we had lots if fun and our guide was lovely and extremely knowledgeable. U can imagine that in a nice day the views would be stunning. I loved the visit to the rooftop sustainable garden.
