A great and fun tour to take in Brussels. Belgian beer has always been a favorite, but with so many choices, it is hard to find the best - and the ones that I would not find at home. Our guide (the owner of the company) was very amusing and full of a lot of stories and tales about beer, Brussels and life in general. This was a very fun way to pass an afternoon and I met other fellow travellers, too. Caution - pace yourself: even though you are just tasting a few beers, these can sneak up on you! (in a good way, of course)

BEST TIME IN BRUSSELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my husband's and I favorite thing we did while in Brussles. The guide is very knowledable about microbrews in Belgium and takes you through the oldest bars in Brussles and a few others to compare. The beer we tasted was amazing and it was so fun walking around to different pubs with your small group. If you love beer or just want to experience beer culture in Brussels I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!
Exactly what I was looking for in a beer tour of Brussels. Centuries of beer history packed into a 4 hour tour. The selection of draft beer presented on this tour was great plus you are learning about the beers as you enjoy them. You are also introduced to areas of Brussels where most tourists never set foot. Be sure to order a IV Saisons at Moeder Lambic.

To tell you the truth, the 4 of us aren't beer drinkers but we wanted to know about the famous Belgian beers and what better way than to taste different kinds that this tour offered. It was the highlight of our trip to Brussels which was the start of our river cruise to Netherlands. With this small group, Mark did an excellent job of showing us various local pubs in out-of-the-way places behind Grand Place and having us taste beer, light, dark, blueberry, chocolate, what-have-you. I particularly liked the beer, "Bad Luck Blonde" but many that we tasted cannot be purchased outside of Belgium and some are the specialty of the pub. The meeting place was easy to find, although I was at first worried since I've never been to Brussels. He led us through the back streets and as it turns out, it is like a city tour as well. We even had a German TV crew following us for this particular tour since Monday was Beer Day in Germany. Anyway, it was a memorable tour and I learned about Belgian beer through TASTE rather than the making process.
The tour was fantastic. We learned a lot, we drank as much as we wanted, we got to see plenty of the city that wouldnt have seen otherwise. I have nothing but good things to say and i highly recommend this tour. It was the best value for our money on our entire vacation.
Awesome, awesome day! My husband and I enjoyed every aspect of the tour. We were in a small group of 7 people, so we all got a lot of attention from the guide and shared a lot of laughs. Our guide was a very interesting man who had a real passion for beer. He took us to small bars that were out-of-the of typical tourist hot-spots. We will probably take this tour again in the future. Brussels is beautiful and everyone is very friendly and helpful.

If you only do one thing in Brussels, take this tour. It was by far the highlight of our trip. Imagine just meeting up some friends in a new city, and they take you out. Show you the sights, you learn about the best beers in the world, and you have a blast...sounds fun huh? We actually loved the beer tour so much, we signed up for another two with this group the next day to visit Brugge. Not over selling this, but we had high hopes and it exceeded our expectations.
Our guide on this trip, Jan, literally changed our entire Brussels experience. He was amazing and gave us so much great info on so much more than beer.
A great time! Tour guides were knowledgable and personable. I wish we didn't have to leave. We went to about 5 bars - each of which we sampled different beers with a group of amazing people from all over the place. The best thing about these tours are the people b/c you get to spend time with strangers and really branch out to meet others. We had a blast! Again, wish we didn't have to leave!
AWESOME! Our tour guide had a great sense on humor. He was very knowledgeable and the day was very enjoyable. After the tour he suggested a few other places to try so several of us from the group went to a couple more bars.
Tour and beer was great, definitely not the tourist trap bars! Another great thing about this tour is meeting the other participants!
This tour was very good, we did the chocolate tour in the morning and then the beer one in the afternoon, both tours took us to places in Brussels that we wouldn't have found on our own. Tried a lot of different beer and each of them were grand. The appetisers were amazing too got to love the gouda cheese and salami
