Both tour guides were excellent. The morning tour had some technology issues but the guide did remarkably well speaking in 3 languages without a microphone.
Antwerp was fascinating. As it was a Saturday the Diamond demonstration wasn't available but we got to see plenty of other sights including the port area. Frank was an excellent guide with a great sense of humour.
Both the morning excursion and the afternoon were so good. Dan was excellent in giving us information about Brussels and made sure everyone was accounted for. In the afternoon we had guide and he was wonderful as well. I wish I could remember his name but both of these guys provided a lot of information and history on the places we went too.
good. 4.5 star. One of the operator of Brussels's city tours was rude.
The morning tour was delayed by bad traffic and we did not get to our afternoon Antwerp tour till 1:15pm and we barely made a quick visit to the WC before boarding the bus with no opportunity fo buy a sandwich.
Morning tour of Brussels was fine. The Antwerp tour showed us some interesting surprise of the flora carpet in display. We were pleased. Both guides were fine but not as good as the guide that took us to Ghent and burgers.
Very good tour guides. Poor communication by company concerning pick up and drop off points.
Great way to see Brussels and Antwerp! Stephan was guide for Antwerp, he was amazing! He gave lots of info on history of Antwerp.
Surprisingly Manikin Pis Boy visit was not included.
Antwerp guide talked continously!
The morning session was good..guide not very personable. The trip to Antwerp made the day. Our guide was great.
Enjoyed the tour. The Brussels part is pretty basic and panoramic in nature. Antwerp is really worth the visit from a historical standpoint, plus beautiful scenes.
It was a fascinating tour which my husband and I enjoyed very much. Thanks to both our informative guide for the city tour and Antwerp tour respectively. However, the only setback was the tour duration at Antwerp was rather short and that did not really hv amber time to explore .
Brussels sight seeing tour was good , but I would have enjoyed had they allowed more time at palace, Chinese palace, Japanese pagoda etc., The tour surprisingly did not contain trip to statue of piss. Antwerp tour was a damp sqib. You should have younger and more informative guides with megaphone
Not much description given by tour guide on Brussels sightseeing portion. I thought this was an English-only tour. Guide translated information into 3 languages so many of the participants had to stand and wait while translations were being done. This took time away from learning more information and seeing more sights. No consideration whatsoever for bathroom needs (3 hour tour).
Antwerp trip more educational.
Bus air-conditioning didn't work and bus driver said that the bus was going to the garage next day. He had only a few bottles of water to compensate for the overheated bus. It would've been considerate to provide all participants with water under these circumstances.
The half day trip to Antwerp in the afternoon was interesting but rushed for time. If we were to do it again, we would take the full day trip to Antwerp and walk Brussels ourselves.
It was nice ... could have been better if there's no rain. We practically have to stand in the rain while the tour guide gave us some history of the place.
The Brussels tour was short and overran because the Atomium access was blocked. We did visit all the areas mentioned and then had an idea of what to see on our other free days. The tour guide spoken on French , German and English.
The Antwerp tour guide was a very elderly gentleman when went through in all three languages on the journey to Antwerp. We only saw the St Catherine's cathedral whilst there although it did specify that there would be a tour of the diamond area on the intinerary. Overall it was a pleasant day of the tour.
First part of the tour in Brussels was absolutely not informative and poorly organized. It was just waste of time. The second part in Antwerp was much better.
Tour arranged hotel pick up. We were transferred from the hotel to the office where the city tour started already. There was no hand over of the bus passengers to the the tour guide and we were expected to find him.
I find it deceitful for viator to put on the itenerary bout the visit to Antwerps diamond factory. It didn't happen. The tour guide just led us round in circles round the town area then went to explain the same building again. The Brussels tour is rubbish. You only get 5mins to take photo on atomium
Don't Waste Your Time And Money!
We did Brussels Sightseeing and Antwerp Half-Day Trip, and both tours were horrible. The guide for Brussels tour mumbled some information in 3 different languages. You spend almost all the time in the bus, and he just points the direction of important landmarks. On the tour to Antwerp the bus was completely full (50+ people), and the tour guide for Antwerp -again - was mumbling information in 3 languages. It was very difficult to follow him and to hear him outside the bus. The "free time" in Antwerp was 1 hour to walk around the Cathedral. If you need to use the restroom - good luck! The guide doesn't seem to care about it. In fact, he was really surprised when we asked him about the restroom 3 hours into the trip, and he continued to say something in 3 languages. The tour was very boring, not informative, poorly organized and the tour guide was awful. Tour was provided by Brussels City Tour company. Don't waste your time and money, try to do it with another tour company, or on your own.
