Fantastic tour.
Best value tour we've ever been on.
Tour guide - Mashi - was a walking encyclopedia on Budapest history and culture and extremely engaging in her manner .
Would recommend as a great way to be introduced into the delights of Budapest for first time visitors (as we were).

Our guide did a wonderful job of showing the most interesting Budapest sites while also sharing some of her our personal history as a resident of Budapest. The trip wisely included travel to various sites via metro, enabling us to see more in the 3 hour plus trip. The guide's personality was ranged between charming and delightful, always filled with a joyous smile. The only recommendation we would have is to make it easier to see where the group gathers at the beginning of the trip. Enjoy the best that Budapest has to offer, from the past and the present.

Excellent overview of the city, thoroughly enjoyable. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful guide. Long climb at the end, very enjoyable for those who can manage it. There is a bus (#16) which can take those who can't make the climb for about $1.75. Suggest that tour guide offer this as an option and have bus tickets available for sale.

Fabulous! Without this tour you would have no idea of what there was to see and offer for short term visitors

Our group was relatively small (only 6 people, plus our guide, Anna) so the tour was quite enjoyable, especially since Anna was very knowledgeable about the Hungary's history and culture. During the tour, we not only got to know the important sights and structures in Budapest, but also learned about the language, food, and the Hungarian people. The pace of the tour was relaxing and there was enough time to take photos and savor the sights. This is one tour that is really worth the money spent!

great tour of Budapest on foot,we had Louis who has a great knowledge of the city's history and architecture you get the felling he would do this job for free, he loves his city.sorry we could not give him a tip we had a high value note only and found it difficult to swoop even for souvenirs they don't have enough change, Louis even paid our metro fare to and from hero's square even though its included in the tour would have given it back to him thanks for a great tour.

Fantastic tour, covered everything and over ran. the guide Louis was superb and spoke excellent English. You cover both sides of the river and get to see a great deal of history.
I have done many tours around the world and this was by far one of the best organized and informative. It could be because we were a small group .
Beware there is a lot of walking and a great deal up hill at times.
As for Viator they are on my favorites list for the future
