What You Can Expect
Hop-On Hop-Off Tour and River Cruise
This 24-hour hop-on hop-off pass is a terrific way to see Budapest’s top attractions. The route passes must-see landmarks like the UNESCO-listed Royal Palace, the Parliament Building and the bustling shops of Andrássy Avenue. You’ll receive informative commentary on board as you sit in the fresh air of the upper deck. When you reach a stop you’d like to explore more on your own, simply hop off at your leisure.
Continue your sightseeing with a 1-hour cruise along the scenic Danube River. You’ll pass the city’s stunning panorama, with glimpses at Margaret Island and the historic Chain Bridge.
Coffee and Cake at Café Gerbeaud
When you’re ready to sit back and relax for a bit, have a slice of cake and cup of Hungarian coffee at Café Gerbeaud. This classic establishment is known for its ornate décor, with draped curtains and large chandeliers. The popular coffee spot has been drawing crowds since the 1800s.
Lunch or Dinner at Kaltenberg Restaurant
After you’ve worked up a hearty appetite from all of your sightseeing, make your way to Kaltenberg for a 2-course lunch or dinner. This cellar restaurant boasts authentic Hungarian fare, and you’ll sit down to a hot helping of goulash as well as dessert, with a beer or soft drink included. There’s no need for reservations with this ticket, just show up and savor the local flavors to top off your day in Budapest.
This trip was really good and well worth the money. I was a little confused at first as to how to use our tickets but after printing off all the vouchers it was simple. the bus was great for seeing the main sights ( always on time) cruise was also very good for hop on and hop off. The restuarant meal was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The coffee and cake cafe was also really nice, had a nice old fashioned atmosphere. I would do this trip again.
Provides the opportunity to see all the city highlights. Easy to use and frequent pick ups and drop offs. Check beforehand, many of the attractions do not open until late afternoon or close at one if you take the hop on /hop off on a weekend
Fabulous , magnificent , awesome

Excellent way to see Budapest. Hop on Hop Off bus very clean and efficient and great value for money. Cake and coffee/Dinner excellent. Would do it again.
Budapest was great
Glad we did this tour. Great way to see the city and also eat at good places. Great desert at Girbuad (specializes in deserts;not to sure on the spelling) but we also at lunch their, very good. Dinner was also delicious. Great City to visit!!! Also easy to get around in this city.
Excellent package apert from the failure to deliver tickets to the hotel. This meant that there was a 30 minute argument in the coffee shop even though they had proff of the copy printed from the internet to say it had been paid for.
The evening meal was fun - but far too much food!
The boat was a scow we left before starting and found a very nice reasonably priced cruise on our own; the restaurant was so remote from the activity we didn't bother...better to do the HOHO and configure the rest from there.
We felt this tour was overpriced and the lunch location was inappropriate. The restaurant was not on the bus line and we had a difficult time finding it. It took about 15 min. walking there in a district we weren't familiar with and the food wasn't that good. We felt it was a waste of our time. It would have been better if we could have had a 48 hour tour like they were selling on the street, and also if the restaurants were easy to find and right on the tour route. As it was, we only had time to use one of the meal vouchers and did not have time for the 1 hr. boat ride because we used the bus to get around to the different sightseeing attractions.
