Very knowledgeable tour guides. A great way to get a feel for the city and make choices as to what you would like to revisit. Excellent.
Took this half day sightseeing tour the last weekend in November. The guide was brillant, her ease of moving from one language to another was amazing. The tour lasted longer than in brochure and was splendid. The buildings and monuments are so well maintained, the city is spotless, and even more spectular in the evening when all the buildings are lit up. Highly recommend it.
Very well organised. Would have helped if we had known a taxi was picking us up for the transfer from our hotel though. An informative guide - sometimes a little hard to understand but generally her English was very good. We had a good overview of the city and the attractions to visit. A little longer in the Castle district would have been enjoyable as this is the most attractive part.
Francis was knowledgeable, kind, and obviously lived his city. Thank you for a wonderful day.
We loved the tour. Elizabeth, the tour guide came to our hotel and walked with us to the tour bus. There was a relatively small group which made the tour even more fun. Elizabeth was very professional and caring about ensuring that all of the tourist questions were answered and that we had ample time to cover the sights. Budapest was an amazing scenic city to tour as it beautiful in its history, architecture and layout.
Very good intro to this large city. You cover most all of the major tourist attractions and
even get to walk around the castle district and citadel area. Do this on your first day so
you get your bearings and know what you want to go back to later on.
Loved this tour. Our tour guide was funny and a very lovely lady. We saw most things and it was worth doing.
This tour was an excellent way to learn about Prague if one has never been there before. We were fortunate in having only English on our tour.
Unfortunately we were not able to stop at any sites until the end when we parked and exited the bus at the Prague Castile. This was likely caused by traffic and parking availability. There was ample parking at the castle. I enjoyed the walk across the Charles Bridge to the historic old town at the end of the tour.
An excellent way of getting an overview of the city in a few short hours. No hitches as picked up on time and travelled in a small group with excellent guide, and several opportunities for a get out and stroll moment and to take pics. Good guide and much explanation of the history of the city. We enjoyed the free boat trip the next day too .We stumbled on this company by chance but would use it again now we have realised it operates in other places too.
We booked the half day coach tour for the first morning of our stay. The hotel pick up was great as, at that stage, we would have struggled to find any other pick up point.
The coach tour itself provided a great way to see they key landmarks in Budapest and quickly find our bearings, all before lunch on day one. It provided lots of background history and helped us plan an itinerary to make best use of the days we had available to us. Every minute of our time in Budapest was then used to the full.
A real bonus was the free tickets given out on the coach for the boat tour. We took advantage of this two days later and spent the full afternoon on Margaret island. It was a wonderful, warm, sunny October day and the trees looked magnificent in their autumn colours.
Well worth the (approx.) £23 each that we paid for this trip.
