Hop On never disappoints. Great way to see the highlights of a city and then return to the sites that interest you.
This tour was great value as it was current for 2 days and it also included a boat trip. Only wish we had been in Budapest longer as couldn't utilise the next day's portion of ticket. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Budapest.
Very useful way of seeing the city with good background information.
Excellent routes. Frequent buses. Detailed historical information in my own language using headphones. Worth every penny.
Very good value for money and a great way to see the city. The Inclusion of the Danube river cruise made it even better
We made very good use of the Hop on Hop Off buses while we were in Budapest. We felt that the commentary was well done and the buses kept to their scheduled times. We were able to walk to and from our B and B in the vicinity of Adam Clark Square where it was a very convenient bus stop for us. Once we sorted out which bus line was ours, as there are several different companies operating the same types of tours, we were just fine. The sales staff at the various stops all spoke very good English so we had no problems communicating.
Excellent tour. Very obliging staff, especially tour guide Mark. Buses were almost pretty much to time.We took full advantage of the tours on both days, plus the river cruise and the evening Santa tour. The experience gave us an insight into the various areas of Budapest which we then explored on our own the day after our Hop on Hop off finished.
Amazing value as the second day is free! Very easy to pick up the tour at lots of different locations and never long to wait. Being able to use the ticket for the boat at night was really unexpected and an experience to remember. No need to pay for a sepaerate night cruise meant value was amazing.
Bus worked out great for us to get all over the city and upwards onto the mountain side to see the castle area.
Well worth the money- it rained both days we were on the tour- so it was a GREAT way to see the city... and stay relatively dry! The staff were very helpful in answering our questions. If you book the tour- make SURE you print BOTH pages of the voucher! We didn't and had to get off at an office to have our voucher validated and then printed.
Outstanding tour seeing all the important sites with a succinct knowledge given of the architecture, some history and culture excellent
Easy way to see the city and see what you want to go back to. It is a large city so it is a wait for the busses
This was very good and we made extra visits to other things that interested us. The tour guides were helpful and nice and one in particular told us of a café in a bookshop which was splendid and well worth a visit and we would not have known this if we had not chatted to him. The tour is good because it gives you ideas as to what to visit which interests you.
Exceptional service and a great bargain. See the whole city or any part of it at your speed.
A good choice, we hadn't been to Budapest before therefore we decided to book a tour bus in advance of arriving, very good value too, 48 hours worth, ample time to hop on hop off
Definitely worth the money. The bus takes you to all the best sites, or at least close by. There are several different bus routes and lines, that run continuously during the day, and some at night. There is even a boat routes that takes you to near by Margaret Island. It's definitely worth taking.100 satisfied.
Great value and we did the one-hour night cruise which is also included and this is really worth it. Easy exchange of vouchers at their bus stop which was close to our hotel. All of us enjoyed this very much.
The first day we rode the complete route and the second day we got off at the places we wanted to explore further. This is a great way to gt a first look at Budapest. We also went on a communism - Hammer and Sickle tour with Laszlo as our guide. He was absolutely fantastic! We highly recommend both of these tours.
