What You Can Expect

Budapest Parliament House Tour

Inside Parliament House, Budapest

Adorned with white neo-gothic turrets and arches, the Parliament Building has become one of Budapest’s most famous landmarks. The structure was built between 1885 and 1902 along the Danube and was, for a time, the largest parliamentary building in the world. With 691 rooms and staircases stretching for more than 12 miles (20 kilometers), the building is topped by a dome that sits 226 feet (69 meters) high in the sky.

Your tour will begin with pickup from your hotel by your guide. After being transported to the building, you’ll be led inside to explore architectural highlights such as the Great Vaulted Hall and the Session Room. Feel free to ask questions as your guide provides historical commentary. Your tour will conclude outside of the Parliament building.

Great, pleasant service. The tour guide took me around the vicinity of the Parliament explaining the history and then helped me join the tours at the Parliament itself. Excellent service.

So thankful we booked this tour in advance of our trip. Heard from some that they could not see Parliament as they had not booked early enough. This tour is very much worth the money. Highly informative, grand architecture and furnishings, and a history of Hungarian politics. Highly recommend this - it's a must see on your trip to Budapest!

Excellent, they picked us up at our hotel and we walked about 10 minutes to our bus. The tour itself is interesting with visits to the Parliament, including the legislature chambers.

Buying the tour was a good way to get tickets ahead of time and not have to wait in long lines to get tickets later in the day. We were picked-up at our hotel. So it eliminated a lot of hasstle. The interior of the parliament was magnificent and well worth seeing. We then went on a little walking tour on our own toward the Chian Bridge along the Danube and saw the moving Shoes Memorial.

This visit was exceptional and it is such a beautiful building. The tour guide was very good and knowledgeable. The only recommendation I would make is that the tour group needs to be a bit smaller as it was quite large.

Parliament is a beautiful building both interior and exterior. The visit was well worth the effort.
