This is a must if you are in budapest and well worth the money
Pickup from out hotel was timely and we transferred to bus at at our meeting point nr the Intercontinental hotel. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful, providing lots of information. Inside the parliament, we could only be guided by the official guides. Disappontingly there was building works ongoing in the parliament square so that spoiled the views but I guess that is my bad luck.
Tour was informative, inside the parliament building is very ornate, only disappointment was that the tour only did a small amount of this huge building and lasted only 30 minutes,I though it should have been at least one hour
eurama tour was very good, in many languages...like Westminster in London ,this neo gothic building was good...my only suggestion is...please ask plenty of questions about the tour and the free vouchers and coupouns your given at the time...not later...and orientate yourself...you will enjoy it,,,it is highly recommended...
What a great trip this is. We were picked up by car at our hotel and taken to join the coach to take us to the parliament building. We were glad we booked in advance as the queue to buy tickets was very long and it was freezing cold. Our guide was very informative. The building itself is well worth visiting it is a truly beautiful place. You are allowed to take photos inside.
Great value. I tried to visit Budapest Parliament on a previous trip and tickets were difficult to obtain. The Viator tour was great. We came in contact with several employees, all were friendly and helpful. The driver picked us up at the hotel desk at 0900 (we had a 0930 tour). I was a little nervous about the pick up time and called the Hungarian number...nothing to worry about, he gave me the 0900 pick up time and said they'd come to the desk. We were dropped off at an agency near the Intercontinental and transferred to a bus. That is where we presented our tickets. I had the e-ticket--which surprised the tour guide a little, but as soon as I presented my iPhone inside the agency, everything was ok. Tour was very nice, tour guide was knowledgeable, building magnificent. As an added bonus, we received boat tickets for an hour tour on the Danube--we took advantage of this as well, it was exactly what we were looking for. All and all, we found this to be a great value and the people wonderful. I will definitely use Viator again.
We stayed at the Inercontinental hotel in Budapest, and the tour meeting point was there, so for us that was a plus, the tour was very interesting, I do recomend it, the only downside for us, is that it ends outside the Parliament, it does not take you back to the pick up place, found out at the end of the tour.
Great tour --- parliament building beautiful --
a must see
We were very pleased with the ease of contacting the group in Budapest and the tour itself. The leader spoke very clear english and was very informative with her talks
rliament, so we were very happy to not be disappointed this time! (Last time, we had not booked a tour, and were hoping to get in without one). As it turned out, the tour was very informative, and was well worth the price.
The tour was more then we expected. We were taken to nearby Liberty Square and given a mini tour. It has a statue of Ronald Regan and is bordered by the US embassy. We didn't have to wait to enter the Parliament building and the guide was very informative. We were picked up at our hotel on time and all in all it was a pleasant experience.
We enjoyed the tour and it is really the only way to see Parliament House. Guide was knowledgeable and interesting and we did not have to wait in the long lines
