What You Can Expect
After being picked up from your hotel, you'll begin the tour inside the neo-Gothic architecture of the Parliament building. Your guide will lead you through the Session Room, the central staircase and the Great Vaulted Hall. You’ll have the opportunity to ask your guide questions as you travel from room to room and learn more about the country’s rich history.
After your tour of Parliament, you’ll take a load off your feet and hop back into the car, crossing over the Danube via Margaret Bridge. Your guide will drive to the Buda side of the city, where the Royal Castle sits. Here you’ll have the opportunity to admire the views from Fishermen's Bastion and see the interior of Matthias Church.
After stopping for pictures at the Citadel, you'll cross back over to Pest on the Elisabeth Bridge and drive to Heroes' Square, situated next to Budapest’s beloved City Park. Before the tour concludes at the Hotel Intercontinental, you’ll make your last stops by the Hungarian Opera House and the impressive St. Stephen's Basilica.
This tour was amazing!
This was fast paced tour of both walking and by bus so you see a lot of sights in a short time. The Parliament house tour is incrediable and not to be missed. Our guide was very good and had grown up during the communist era and had many interesting stories on the history of Budapest. Unfortunately the weather that day was cold and rainy so we had to move in and out to avoid the rain and wind.
This tour was conducted by three different people. Someone took us over to the Parliament. Then someone from the Parliament did the interior tour of the Parliament. During this we wore earphones, which did have static at short times. As I understand it only people from the Parliament can conduct this tour. Finally someone else gave us a tour of the rest of the city. All personnel were professional and informative. I would recommend this tour.
I had a short holiday due to work but able to see most things memorable around budapest during this tour.Guide Estelle who accompanied us in parliament was very friendly and knowledgeable. After the parliament tour, city visit started with Francis.Despite his arthritis,he took us up and down hill and give good information about BUDA and Pest.Thank you for making this short trip memorable.
A very well operated tour.. Our guide Agnes and Ferenc were terrific.. Especially Ferenc is such a wonderful gentleman.. He took us on a lovely walking tour of the Buda side and is so well informed.. The Parliament Building is stunning.. But it definitely looks better in pictures or in videos.. A tour not to be missed..
Picked up at hotel which was great. On time. Two guides. One took us to Parliament House where we had an English tour. Another guide took us on the city tour. Most of us left the tour near the end at St. Matthews to do some shopping. Good tour.
Great tour. The Parliament House was so beautiful! It was definitely my favor building in Budapest. The other sites were great too. However, it was a cloudy day and we weren't able to get the best pics.

The easiest way to see the parliament. The tour lets you to bypass the big line and get in first.
The city tour introduces you to all major sites .
We were picked up promptly from our hotel and taken to a central meeting area where our guide Ingrid showed us to our bus with another couple. After a short drive around the city with lots of information we headed to the parliament building for our tour there. This lasted for around 40 minutes with an English speaking guide who was very informative. Once over Ingrid waited outside for us to escort us to another bus to meet with another guide and more couples.
The next part of our tour lasted a couple of hours with lots of information given and included visiting various parts of the city including Heroes Square, Geller Hill and Castle Hill, great area for pictures.
Would definitely recommend booking a tour like this, you could go on one of the hop-on hop-off bus tours but wouldve get as much in-depth information.
