What You Can Expect
As you take off along the water, you’ll be poured seven complimentary Hungarian wines. Each tasting promises the flavourful notes from the country’s best organic winemakers, including Tier Tokaj or Szajki, produced without additives.
As you sip and sample, look out to enjoy the view of Budapest’s panorama. You’ll see the majestic domes of the Gellért Baths, the Parliament Building and the regal glow of the Royal Palace. Snap some photos as you sail under the Chain Bridge, and spot additional landmarks like the arcade of Fisherman’s Bastion and the Citadel. Then continue to wine taste, cleansing your palette with a serving of Hungarian scones, included with this ticket.
After you've sampled all seven wines, you’re welcome to purchase additional drinks on board. Sweet dessert wines are available, among others. Then make your final toast as the boat returns to land at its original departure point.
Such a great value for the money! The price is alone worth the night cruise to see all of the buildings Parliament, Castle District, etc. lite up at night. 7 wines were sampled and you get a decent pouring of each wine. Cruise lasted 2 full hours with nice music on board and plenty of open deck on top of the ship for pictures. Very well managed.
The boat was bigger than expected and pretty classy! It was a little awkward at first, sitting with a table of strangers but a few glasses later and it was fine. The views on the Danube were brilliant and the servings of wine were very generous - eat first! Great trip though and lovely way to spend an evening.
The view is gorgeous from the ship, it is a good amount of wine, and they also have appetizers for purchase. There is also a band playing during the service.
Great value for money and a wonderful cruise along the Danube as it became dark and the buildings lit up along the way. We tasted 7 different lovely hungarian wines although it did feel as if we were forgotten a little as all the attention was given to the dinner guests around the sides. It would have been nice to be given a glass of fizz as you boarded like the other guests, even if this meant one less glass at the tasting! You were given a sheet of paper with info on the wines but you didn't learn too much about each one. You are given the opportunity to buy food or bottles of wines if you wanted.
This tour is fun. We took both the combination dinner and wine cruise which was better because you could be outdoors on the deck. This ship is mostly indoors. Nice wines and good service.
a very good wine tasting cruise, where you get to try 7 diffrent wines, all from hungary,
the server tells you a little about each wine.
after you have a chance to buy any off the wines you have tried.
well worth the money and a good way to spend a hour
if you like wine and wine tasting , then this is a good cruise to do

Very pleasant way to spend an evening, discovered some lovely wines too. The boat was large and the majority of passengers were on the dinner inclusive cruise but we were happier to do the wine tasting and have dinner later in a local restaurant. The scenery of Budapest by night is spectacular.
Could have been a bit more informative over the tasting of the wine. But all said the wines were excellent. Trip was too short to taste all 7 wines, we only got to taste 6.
Food and wine cruise is the way to go.
