The Danube bend day trip was simply perfect. Beautiful scenarios, and a lovely tour guide (Ingrid).
Lunch was served in a beautiful restaurant on top of a hill therefore we could enjoy a wonderful view whilst eating a delicious 3 course meal. I recommend this trip to everyone - it is a must if you are visiting Budapest!
Amazing! The Hungarian countryside is beautiful, the guide was friendly and very informative, lunch was delicious and the towns are interesting.
Fantastic! Great guide who knew what he was talking about. Meal was okay very simple but sufficient. Met great people too so don't feel as of you can't go yourself!
A thoroughly enjoyable day trip from Budapest. All the arrangements went well. The tour guide was informative and helpful. We had a very pleasant lunch in a rice restaurant with an amazing view.A very good day out
Very interesting, well organized, planned trip. We enjoyed it very much and
would recommend it to visitors to Hungary. The guide was very good leading
us around, and was very knowledgeable about the historical things. We had lunch
at a beautiful place where the food was wonderful, too. We enjoyed the boat ride
down the Danube. The shopping at St. Andre was a good experience.
We thank you.
this trip was more than i expected. we had a great tour of 3 towns plus a boat ride home. we also went across the river to Slovakia. the guide was excellent.
An excellent day trip out of Budapest with Ingrid as our very informative and pleasant guide. Although we did not stay at a centrally located hotel - we were picked up from our accommodation/apartment at the agreed time. Special dietary requirements were included (vegetarian). The return journey, by boat, along the Danube River was an added bonus. Thankyou.
Worth every penny
Excellent bus, tour guide and time allotment
Everything was so well organised! We were picked up by taxi from our hotel and taken to the couch to meet our tour leader and fellow day trippers. Helena, our tour leader was absolutely fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. always with a smile and as joke. The lunch in the mountains was value for money.I will definately recommend this tour to my friends.
We were picked up on time in a clean ,mini coach bus driver very polite.transfered to large coach ,the tour guard Helena was very good ,all the family found the tour interesting ,very enjoyable,.Lunch was ok not the best by very good for that type of catering .all in all a very goof valued and I informative tour
This was by far the best tour of my trip. Excellent guide and very knowledgeable.
Trip was same as description. Lunch was in a very nice restaurant with good view. Guide was good, taking care of everybody. Picking up in the morning by taxi and when got off from the text, there was staff showing the bus, everything runs very smoothly.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour which was led by an experienced and entertaining guide who was one of the best we've encountered. Our day included passing through attractive and varied country, visits to historically interesting sights, a nice lunch at a good restaurant, a shopping stop, and a return to Budapest via the Danube.
Good overview of some of the towns outside of Budapest. Good photo stops and great lunch stop. Boat trip down the Danube was a nice addition. Overall, a nice day out of the city.
Really enjoyed this tour. The description doesn't do it justice. The countryside views and informative guides made this a wonderful view of Hungary outside of Budapest.
Great tour, well organized, just the right balance of sailing, walking and cruise on the lovely Danube river. Must do for everyone visiting Budapest.
This was a great trip with a mixture of churches, small towns, lunch, Danube cruise. At the church we visited there happened to be the wedding of a countess' daughter - never been to a royal wedding before!
Fantastic day with a three course lunch at a lovely restaurant . We travelled through Visegard and Estergom .
From Estergom we crossed the border between Hungary and Slovakia on foot. The return trip on a boat on the river Danube was an added bonus. The guide was very knowledgeable and she also gave us free times to walk around.
This day trip was a great way to see some of the area to the north of Budapest. As we road the bus through Obuda, we got a view of a number of the Roman ruins. Our guided stroll along the cobble streets in Szentendre helped me locate a shop that I had my heart set on visiting where the famous blue hand dyed material is sold. The restaurant where we were taken for lunch provided outstanding food and views. You have to check out the mounted wild boars heads in the restaurant! The cathedral at Esztergom was quite quite beautiful. The boat ride back into Budapest from Szentendre was a lovely end to the day. Our guide, Ingrid, was very helpful and friendly.
Fabulous guide, lots of history, beautiful countryside...what more can I say.
