Excellent trip and very well organised and great value. When booking the trip, it gave the option of whether or not it was a gift. As it was a present for my husbands 30th and selected yes and included a birthday message. During the cruise the staff came out with a dessert with a candle in it singing happy birthday which was a lovely surprise.
I loved it. There was a welcome glass of champagne and the buffet was superb. The cruise itself gave you ample opportunity to see and take pictures of the most interesting parts of Budapest. Great value for the money, just a great time.
Great wine tasting trip! We loved every s cons of it. You really get to see a lot of the Tuscan country side and go to a small eine town, in addition to the wine tasting. Very fun. Our tour guide was also awesome.
Great cruise! We did not do the lunch portion but our ticket included 2 drinks. Cruise only took 1.5 hours and worth it on a cold day outside.
Recommend what a view you will get food is good to pay the price for a buffet, lunch was good can't complain..
Was in Europe for 24 days and this cruise served the best meal in Europe. Surprised us since you don't necessarily expect such great dining on such a venue
scenery was beautiful and charming.
food was very good with excellent service
Good food, great tour guide who was very personal and friendly. The boat ride was very nice as well.
This Danube River Lunch Cruise was really enjoyable. The food was really good and the sights along the river bank were fantastic.
Great way to get a panoramic view of the city. Highly recommended
Trip was well planned and well done. Please arrive early and if the weather is great, go for the rear deck seats right away. By far the best seats in the house. I arrived and went straight to the back. Others were scoffing me because there was the assumption of rain was following. Alas, the clouds went away and it came out to be very very beautiful and now out of the blue, everyone including their grandmother wanted a piece of the deck chairs in the back. The viewing was perfect around and the boat gave us drinks being served. The drinks were fresh champagne which was very refreshing. All in all, a very solid relaxing way to see Budapest and all the landmarks near the river.
When I called Viator, the rep said that the group was to meet at the Danube Palace. When I got off my river cruise, I took a taxi to the Danube Palace as directed by the rep. There were 100 buses there. The driver did not speak English, so he called his main office to have me talk to an English speaking person. I told him that I booked thru Viator. The office manager gave the driver the name of the street of your
office. The street was a pedestrian street, so the driver pointed down the street for me to go and look for the office. As I walked down the street I saw a young lady selling "something ". I asked her if she knew where I should check in for the lunch cruise. She said that she has the rep selling the lunch cruise and the office was inside the building. The "sightseeing taxi ride " cost me $ 15. The Cruise was great - the lunch was okay - the young lady was very informative and attractive. I had used Viator a number of years ago in Vienna. I would use Viator again. I am a travel agent.
