That was one of our best trips, the Lake was gorgeous, and as for the Herend Porcelain Factory, well it was amazing, one of our best trip the two were, in fact I purchased a piece of china, and could have stayed longer

Highly enjoyable and pleasant. Mandatory for any Herend devotee. As one of them, I would suggest lengthening the time spent at the Herend factory. (I could have easily spent another hour there, and was so busy making my purchases I never got to see the museum). There was almost a whole free hour at the end of the tour in Balaton Lake. Still, all in all, a great experience.
Ingrid, our tour guide patiently explained what we were seeing and, at all times, kept track of the group and saw that our questions and concerns were answered. Herend was a fascinating tour will details on how the pieces are make and showcasing the skill and effort that is needed for each piece. Lake Balaton was beautiful and we saw some of the prettier villages and other sights. Both are a MUST SEE in Hungary.
This was a great trip, beautiful scenery and very educational about making porcelain. Great 3 course lunch with wine outdoors in the hillside of the Balaton. I can recommend to everyone.
The porcelain factory is very interesting and Lake Balaton is picturesque. The travel down gives a good view of the countryside and how the people live.
This turned out to be the best tour we booked on our trip. The Herend factory visit was a truly unique experience. Our time in the Balaton Lake area was extensive and appreciated. While the driver was very courteous and accommodating, I can't begin to say enough about the guide. She was extremely personable, knowledgeable and impressive - speaking three languages to our assorted group. We still can't believe how reasonable the price was for all that we received.

An excellent tour with a very interesting guide. Would have liked more time at the Herend porcelain factory which was so incredibly interesting.
Lake Balaton is a beautiful place to visit and a must see if you ever visit Hungary. The porcelain factory i expected to be really boring but was actually very interesting (shame it was very expensive!). Lunch comprised of a chicken noodle soup followed by fish (or chicken or pork) and a coffee cake. Our tour guide Ingrid was excellent and very knowledgeable.

The tour is well organized and pleasent. The descriptor of the tour Porcelain Factory is a bit misleading as we really went to a mini factory that was designed for tours. More time at Herend to shop and explore the museum would be nice. Pick up and drop off at the hotel was a plus.
A good tour overall! It would have been better if we had spent more time at lake Balaton.

An interesting tour of the porcelain factory. Lunch in pleasant surroundings. Well worth getting out of the city, and the guide had some very interesting facts about Hungary.
The tour was ok, the guide informative, the lunch was very nice. We were all concerned when the driver kept answering and making phone calls on his cell phone while driving especially during a hard rain storm.
