As I was the only participant of that tour, I really enjoyed it, especially as your guide explained it in German, English and nevertheless gave me the opportunity to practise my hungarian,too. I learnt a lot of the history of your country and I followed the tour crack one day later for photos.
Absolutely fantastic. Jophie, the guide, was suberb. It was excellent value. Recommend this tour to everyone going to Budapest.
Our guide was very accommodating and informative. This was a relaxing and interesting tour.
Overall, the tour was good. Going to St. Stephen's church wasn't necessary, but the various locations of events during the '56 Revolution were shown well. Any person interested in this period of Hungarian history would benefit from taking this tour.
Interesting, it turned out that I was able to contribute quite a bit having lived in Budapest all those years the tour covered.
