The thermal baths were relaxing and the massage was great. Nice way to end my vacation.
This was a really great time. Quick entrance to the spa. Personal attention to get us set up and explain how it all worked. Verified our massages and where and when to go. The facilities were quite lovely and impressive. We tried each of the different pools and saunas. The massages were wonderful, especially having been travelling for over two weeks. Super relaxing.
Loved it, spent hours here moving from room to room trying out all the various pools, def go up to the roof top pool and sauna and take a plunge in the freezing cold plunge pool v invigorating. I didnt get a massage as the hubbie didnt want one but that is my only regret. Bring a swim cap if you want to get into the swimming pool and bring a towel(we borrowed ours from our hotel) The building was beautiful and in a lovely setting defr recommend it to other travellers.
After weeks of walking around Europe we were so looking forward to relaxing in these spas and getting our massage... it was so worth the wait. Definitely get the optional massage, it was so nice. The Spa is a bit confusing to get around as there are lots of walkways but the staff were very helpful. The hot baths were quite large and really really nice!
This Spa is good but we did not go to the others. Bags of atmosphere, great setting, clean and staff were helpful
The bath was beautiful. We got the optional massage which was very rough at the time but my back felt great 3 days after. Make sure to bring flip flops and you do need a bathing cap for one of the indoor pools, both men and women. Also, if you are American you undress in front if everyone. Door open
Very well organised, appointment for massage confirmed previous day. Gellert spa enjoyable, massage good, would take an hour if going again (had 30 mins).
Easy to get to on our own. We walked. The baths were interesting, however 2 sections were closed to the public which limited where we could go.
Make sure that visitors take flip-flops, surf walkers, or other footwear that can get wet. The changing and locker room floors are ripe for bacteria to grow.
The spa was excellent but I did not have to book it ahead nor did I have to go through Viatour. And when I asked this question the week before I booked the tour, the answer I got was inaccurate.
this was worth not having to stand in line for, you also get walked through to the main area and shown where everything is. mind you it is a bit of a maze once your in there, and everyone seemed to be in the same boat of not quite knowing where you were. if you are travelling around Europe the massage was a very welcome treat to sore walking muscles. however even if i was there for just the weekend i probably would have still wanted one. the bath house was just gorgeous and would highly recommend experiencing.
It wasn't for me. The English speaking person was not great, it felt a little dirty environment, needed a hood clean. and this ticket only entitled to one pool.
