Beautiful spa! We spent all day there. Massages were good, different styles depending on who gave massage. I liked mine but my friend found it too much.
Definately a place to visit while in Budapest.
No trip to budapest is complete without a trip to this beautiful old spa,and the massage is awesome 2
It was quite an experience to go to the spa and figure out how to get around. My husband's massage was awesome, mine was so-so. Overall, an enjoyable experience.
Very nice and part of the culture. I included the massage and highly recommend it. Also, go early so you enjoy the total experience. I was there by 9 and my message was at 11.
A unique place and easy to get to by tram or bus.
If you're planning to visit one of the famous Budapest baths whilst on your trip, I would highly recommend this one. The architecture of the building itself if incredible, and once inside you feel a bit like you're bathing inside a cathedral. The baths were so relaxing, and we left feeling totally refreshed after our busy sightseeing schedule. We upgraded to include a massage in our visit, and were so pleased that we did, it was very relaxing, and the service was great.
The thermal baths were relaxing and the massage was great. Nice way to end my vacation.
This was a really great time. Quick entrance to the spa. Personal attention to get us set up and explain how it all worked. Verified our massages and where and when to go. The facilities were quite lovely and impressive. We tried each of the different pools and saunas. The massages were wonderful, especially having been travelling for over two weeks. Super relaxing.
Loved it, spent hours here moving from room to room trying out all the various pools, def go up to the roof top pool and sauna and take a plunge in the freezing cold plunge pool v invigorating. I didnt get a massage as the hubbie didnt want one but that is my only regret. Bring a swim cap if you want to get into the swimming pool and bring a towel(we borrowed ours from our hotel) The building was beautiful and in a lovely setting defr recommend it to other travellers.
After weeks of walking around Europe we were so looking forward to relaxing in these spas and getting our massage... it was so worth the wait. Definitely get the optional massage, it was so nice. The Spa is a bit confusing to get around as there are lots of walkways but the staff were very helpful. The hot baths were quite large and really really nice!
Recommend this entrance package. Gets you in with a changing room and you skip the entry hassles. Went here on Sunday a.m. and relaxed. Met some interesting people. Felt great afterward.
Beautiful building with many pools ,both indoors and out. Pools at 36C and 40C as well as colder swimming pools. A bathing cap is required for the cool pools but can be bought cheaply as the baths. Towels can be rented as well.. The hotel itself has a terrace just below the pools for a beautiful view of the river. Book your massage with this package if you want one, as there were none available on the day we went.
Although it was nothing like a private "spa like" experience, it was a much appreciated break from all of our days of walking tours. Beware that the entry process is a bit off-putting. We checked in with our reservation and were asked to sit and wait for the ticket agent to wait in line along with all of the other guests that were wanting to enter the baths. At first we didn't realize that the lines were for tickets to enter the baths. I would have thought that a prepaid reservation would have somehow insured that the tickets, wrist bands would have been waiting for us upon our arrival.
