Excellent tour well worth the price. Just give yourself extra time as it is all worth it. We did not and missed out on a more relaxing time. The massage was very good and highly recommended. Make sure to being water shoes and a bathing suit and just relax and enjoy.
This spa was so beautiful and less crowded than the Széchenyi Baths. Not too many tourists which makes it wonderful and relaxing.
We thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing experience and thought it represented good value for money too.
The restaurant was also good.We would recommend this excursion to friends
excellent treatment, very clean, wonderful historical interior/exterior design
Great trip spent 4 hours and could have spent more time no problem. Pity wave pool wasn't open but the rest fully made up for it. Great place to visit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our r three hours at this spa which though not overly luxurious provides a very relaxing healing place. We made full use of all the thermal pools and swimming pool. I confess we spent most time in the warmest thermal pool and felt thoroughly refreshed ready for our journey home. There are signs of wear and tear and it was quite busy but it was not a problem. Shower facilities are fine and having use of a private cabin was a real plus. We had an all day pass and could have spent longer but had to leave for our flight home. Do note: headgear must be worn in the swimming pool and caps can be purchased cheaply at the spa. A great experience!
Beautiful spa! We spent all day there. Massages were good, different styles depending on who gave massage. I liked mine but my friend found it too much.
Definately a place to visit while in Budapest.
No trip to budapest is complete without a trip to this beautiful old spa,and the massage is awesome 2
It was quite an experience to go to the spa and figure out how to get around. My husband's massage was awesome, mine was so-so. Overall, an enjoyable experience.
Very nice and part of the culture. I included the massage and highly recommend it. Also, go early so you enjoy the total experience. I was there by 9 and my message was at 11.
A unique place and easy to get to by tram or bus.
If you're planning to visit one of the famous Budapest baths whilst on your trip, I would highly recommend this one. The architecture of the building itself if incredible, and once inside you feel a bit like you're bathing inside a cathedral. The baths were so relaxing, and we left feeling totally refreshed after our busy sightseeing schedule. We upgraded to include a massage in our visit, and were so pleased that we did, it was very relaxing, and the service was great.
The thermal baths were relaxing and the massage was great. Nice way to end my vacation.
This was a really great time. Quick entrance to the spa. Personal attention to get us set up and explain how it all worked. Verified our massages and where and when to go. The facilities were quite lovely and impressive. We tried each of the different pools and saunas. The massages were wonderful, especially having been travelling for over two weeks. Super relaxing.
Loved it, spent hours here moving from room to room trying out all the various pools, def go up to the roof top pool and sauna and take a plunge in the freezing cold plunge pool v invigorating. I didnt get a massage as the hubbie didnt want one but that is my only regret. Bring a swim cap if you want to get into the swimming pool and bring a towel(we borrowed ours from our hotel) The building was beautiful and in a lovely setting defr recommend it to other travellers.
After weeks of walking around Europe we were so looking forward to relaxing in these spas and getting our massage... it was so worth the wait. Definitely get the optional massage, it was so nice. The Spa is a bit confusing to get around as there are lots of walkways but the staff were very helpful. The hot baths were quite large and really really nice!
The baths are just gorgeous. We had the misfortune though of there being a number of school aged children there. They were very noisy.
The massage was lovely but there was no aromatherapy and the queue to hire towels was generally always very long as people would also be booking massages from the same location. I suggest prebooking online for the massage and specify a time quickly as they book up fast.
Photos cannot be taken in the smaller hot baths area.
Beautiful building, however, they were in the middle of building work! Main out door wave pool was closed and certain areas closed, wish we were advised. Also you could not go in main swimming pool without swimming cap. Would go again as outdoor thermal spa was just gorgeous.
