Gray way to see the glacier, Perito Moreno. Transportation to and from the park was a breeze. Wish the tour guide had translated in English more frequently. But, it was still a great experience.
MUST DO THIS ACTIVITY!!! I had such an amazing experience from the moment I walked through the door and was handed a welcome drink. The wine flowed all night and the laughs were endless. I loved all of the instructor interactions and learning about the Argentinian culture. They made the experience tons of fun and was truly the highlight of my 4 weeks in Buenos Aires. The only thing is that we semi-prepared the items and did not cook them ourselves. Just a heads up :
The hosts were wonderful, personable, fun, and funny. The food was excellent, probably the best meal we had during our week long visit. And the wine flowed all night long. We even had a lesson on Argentinian hand gestures and expressions. This was the best thing we did while in BsAs. You need to go!
FANTASTIC!!! My in-laws loved every minute, from experiencing the "mixology" class where we became "certified" :) bartenders per Fernando (but we called him El Stephan) to the empanada contest....just pure delight!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Must do for a cultural experience of a lifetime!
This tour was the highlight of our time in Buenos Aires in February 2015. The mixology class was very interesting, and we had a blast with the staff and others taking the class. I would highly recommend this tour!
This is a must-do in my books. Take my word and book this early in your BA visit. Not only do you learn about Argentine food, culture and some handy words and gestures but you meet amazing people and make new friends - travel companions if you want. The hosts are amazingly friendly and welcoming. We felt like long lost friends returning home after years of missing each other. The food was among the best we ate in BA and we laughed all night long. The group even went out afterwards because we had such a great time together. There's a mixology option - take it! Don't hesitate - just book this experience!!
If you're looking for something a bit special, this is it. From learning to make cocktails based on wine, 3 of them, making empanadas yourself to the most tasty and tender steak, accompanied by the appropriate wines. You'll be busy for nearly 6 hours and never bored plus meeting some interesting people.
One of my highlights of our trip - it was so much fun making the wine cocktails and the food was delicious! Met a great bunch of people and had a fabulous evening!
An absolutely brilliant evening, fantastic team of people organising and we will be making the Argentina wine cocktails for a long time to come!
I really enjoyed this event. The hosts are great and quite charming. A great chance to meet other people and have a nice time cooking and drinking wine. The steak served as part of the dinner was the best steak I had in my entire stay in Buenos Aires. Just a great time all around.

We had a great time. I only have a couple of recommendations
- Pass out hand sanitizer before handling the communal food
- Spend far less time on the “mate” presentation, and don’t expect people that have been eating and drinking all night to care about the whole process. If it is an important cultural experience, introduce it before the wine drinking begins.
- People should be allowed to take their hat and aprons home as a souvenir.
- This is a must, especially if traveling alone or as a couple, it’s a great way to meet other visitors to BA.
Excellent evening, very imformative, good mixology class and great staff food and wine , nighly recommend
We have a wonderful time! It was fun, engaging and one of the best experiences of our trip!
This was excellent! Lots of fun and an excellent way to meet people. I did the wine tasting and the dinner component. Both are worth doing. Wine and food was beautiful. I would highly recommend.
Truly an amazing experience. We participated in the sommelier class in addition to the empanada making class and both were superb. In the sommelier class we had a very enthusiastic teacher and we made three delicious drinks that were paired with tasty appetizer treats. We also tested our noses for various scents that are often found in Argentinian wines. Argentina is not all Malbec! Other wines are made in the country. Then we went upstairs to a beautiful loft dining room for the empanada class and dinner. The class was boisterous and fun, we learned a lot about Argentinian culture. Information we could use on our trip. Very helpful! The empanadas were super delicious. The dinner..... Best steak I have ever had in my life! And we ate a lot of steak during our two-week trip in Argentina. We made our own alfajores for desert and learned how to traditionally drink mate tea. A very memorable, fun night. We loved it!
This was a GREAT EVENT. It was what I did my first night in Buenos Aires and it was perfect. Tons of really good food, great hosts, met lots of interesting people. We learned a ton about the Argentinian culture and cuisine. I highly recommend this tour!!!
Really funny, nice environment, great people! Hands on preparing empanadas and learning about Argentine culture and hands talking. Food is great. The mixology class is not to miss in any case.
What a great night! Met all of our expectations and then exceeded them. We also enrolled in the pre dinner activity which included the wine cocktail mixology - canot wait to try some of the wine cocktails at home. At dinner there was lots of energy and conversation - especially during the empanada making competition. The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and fun. The steak was incredible.
Really not to be missed! Take the mixology part as well, as you can test your smelling ability by trying to guess different flavours and find out how to mix cocktails. The barristas are very fun and the different cocktails samples are very tasty. The food part is great as well, as it gives you info about Argentine traditions, food and wine, gestures and so on. You laugh a lot, eat a perfect meal, some of which (empanadas) are styled by yourself. The beef is cooked to perfection for each guests taste. It really was the best in BA! Our hosts were Fernando and Alex, both fun and very attentive. We really loved it! Even my husband, for whom it was the first encounter with cooking, was awed! Do it! It was one of our best experiences in BA together with the tango lessons we did with Lucia and Gerry!
We enjoyed all 5 hours of the evening! Great food, great hosts, great table mates and great wine.....lots and lots of wine!!
Incredible food, great people, lots of laughter! Especially enjoyed little touches like learning how an empanadas is shaped will tell you its contents, how to order how you'd like you steak cooked in Spanish, several important hand gestures and their meanings in Argentina, and the step by step way to prepare mate. I highly recommend the Argentine Experience!
