Fantastic experience. Grayline in Argentina was so different from our experience of Grayline in Brazil. They organised a pickup, despite our hotel being in Palermo. The evening was amazing. We hadn't realised there was a lesson at the start, which was so much fun. They taught a few steps, and came round and helped out. They were very hands on and you could tell they knew their stuff The meal was surprisingly good (I wasn't expecting much from this kind of event) with a choice for each of the 3 courses, and well cooked food including a nice steak, some pasta, authentic empanadas, and one of the best panna cottas I've had. There was also plenty of wine and drinks. The waiter was nice and deserved his tip at the end. The show itself was quite short (1 hour 15 mins) but the dancing was amazing and the music from the live band was great. The singers were a bit odd but added to the evening. All in all a great night out!
Great dancing and singing from this small group of around 10 performers. Hotel pickup was on time. The show is performed in a theatre in the city centre. We didnt take the meal option but were given a complimentary bottle of water and glass of wine on arrival.
This was an an excellent trip. We were picked up from our hotel; we had a good three course meal including steak and then watched a brilliant show. The dancing , musicians and singers were all excellent. We enjoyed every minute of it. This is excellent value and a great experience - I fully recommend it.
Great performance and food! Very accommodating staff, and attentive to your needs!
An experience unforgettable.
Other than not staring on time-almost an hour everything was perfect.
This was a high point of our trip to B.A. The food was great and the dancing was totally amazing. This is a tango show with alot of history - the troupe has been performing (with various dancers) for years - the band is one of the best you will hear, the music soaring and passionate. There are lots of tango options around town, but this is the grand-daddy of them all in terms of history IMHO - you'll see pictures on the walls from way back in the day, and this history can be felt in the smooth moves of the dancers and the haunting deeply beautiful melodies from the band. Totally wonderful.
Fanstastic show. Food not so much. Highly recommed this but show only. Food was very poor.
There are so many great tango shows in Buenos Aires that it's really hard to choose which one to see! I was happy I chose this one; the performers were great, food was good and they had an extensive wine list!
Fantastic show! A must-do when in Buenos Aires!
Great show. Transfers worked well. Food was better than expected for a touristy event. Wine was included and it was quite ok. Would definitely recommend this tour as good value.
They said the pick up time is bet 8 pm and 8:30 pm. Did not show up until 8:45 pm. Glad the place is closer to my hotel. The three hours include pick up and drop off, meals (good) and an hour of good show. Expect three or four singing and orchestra show while the dancers are changing clothes.
The food was excellent. We opted to have the steak and it was delicious. The show was very good. The only issue we had is that the driver picked us up late, so sweet were stuck at a table in the back and couldn't see well. Also the other guests would not stop talking throughout the performance. It was very rude and distracting.
Tango dancing was fantastic and the venue was lovely, food was good although we waited ages for our main meal and show had started when it arrived. The show starts quite late 10pm and would be better if it started a bit earlier as it goes on for a couple of hours but overall a great tour.
The dinner/show package was worth the money. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the wine was delicious (highly recommend the white!). The only downfall was that you aren't allowed to take any pictures during the show, but the show was very well done and the dancers are great! Beautiful venue!
The show was well worth seeing. Food, wine and service were all good. It was a fun night.
A stunning night , the dancing is amazing. You'll have the opportunity to have you photo taken with one of the stars of the show. The transportation worked well. I had empanadas Argentinas for a starter, Spinach ravioli for the main and marquise piazzolla (ice cream) and bottle of wine. Great value
This tour is a waste of time and a lot of money. If youre interested in tango, go to a show with just that. The dinner here was terrible and the show very touristic.
Show was good, the dinner experience was bad. The Spanish speaking diners were well taken care of. We do not speak Spanish so the servers waited on everyone else first. It took over a half hour to get desert after asking for it at least 12 times. It appeared the entire dining room was served before we were. As we were leaving the waitress brought us glasses of Champaign so we would give her a tip.
