We loved Anna our guide. She was awesome and I would give her a 5. We also enjoyed the people we met on the tour, also a 5. But the trains had some issues that day so we had to stand for 45 minutes in a really crowded train. Everyone made the best of it, but not what we expected. The shopping is pretty lame, but enjoyed our time on the river. Unfortunately water was low and we had to take the train back so got home later than expected. If not for Anna and the great people we met on the tour may have been a bit of a waste, but in the end we enjoyed our day.

The problem with the trip is driving about Buenos Aires over 1 hour picking up people at SIX different hotels. The traffic in the city is intense. The tour itself is nice once you get going. Once you get to the river portion, its great! Also, the bus was late picking us up :(.

Great pick! Be prepared to walk and take public transportation though. The guide - Eliana - was very prepared, provided interesting information along the way and made a real difference. San Isidro is a bit abandoned but still the Cathedral is worth visiting.

The tour was fine. Guide spoke good English, and everything was mostly on time. Only hitch was that Viatour sent out conflicting information on where and what time to meet tour. We got two different addresses and had to spend time on phone getting the right one.

The Tour Guide was nice, the tour itself was not as great as we had hoped. Took an uncomfortable train down to Tigre (cool to experience). Our boat ride was cut short because of choppy waves so we had to take the train back. We were very disappointed because we wanted toenterBuenos Aires by boat.

Coordination for the trip was bad. I was told to go to San Telmo office instead of the San Martin meeting place. However, we ended up going to that area anyways to pick others up. All and all, we didnt get to the train station until about 11 am, but we met the tour guide at 9 am in San Telmo. Felt rushed through San Isidro. Even though the cruise ship was nice, the windows didnt open and we couldnt feel the sun or nice breeze of the day. Overall, thought the experience was ok but expected much more.
