We took a trip round the park which was fun. Our guide was very helpful and I'd definitely recommend giving it a go; it's not difficult.
Great fun. Worth every penny and would certainly recommend to others. Wasn't sure how we would stay upright but Segways are much easier to ride than they look! We opted for the "Green Route" i.e. through the local parks etc which gave us more freedom and allowed us to go somewhat faster than the city route.
Excellent Experience! We had a blast, laughed a lot and would do it again. Our guide was very informative in French and in English. All a fun and memorable hour and a half.
Heartbroken! The traffic was sooo bad driving out of Paris that we missed our segway tour even though I had allowed an extra 3 hours I tried to get a later one but they were all full. When we finally arrived and took a walk around the town, I thought it was just the loveliest place and was doubly sorry we had missed the tour.
The Segway tour of Dijon is a great and unique way to see the city. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke English well. He was also watchful over us as we were all novices, and he took great care to ensure that we had a safe and memorable experience. A couple of our troupe had minor spills, but no one was hurt or put in danger at any time. Definitely recommend this as a must do for Dijon. It's great cruising down the streets, soaking in the old town. Our only criticism was that the tour started about 40 minutes late due to a technical difficulty that occurred on the previous tour. As a result, our guide was a little rushed and ran out of time towards the end.
A good and fun experience. I had thought we would be given the option of a city tour or the option to go through the park, but it had already been set to go through the park, which turned out to be a nice journey. Good instructor.
We had a tour booked for myself, my mom and brother in Dijon in mid-July. Upon arriving, the segways were being looked over for safety I believe. The guide, although a very nice girl, unfortunately did not speak English which was our first disappointment as I had understood this to be a guided tour of Dijon with an English speaking guide this is what my voucher said. The segways are alot of fun however they were not balanced so you had to 'park' them against something in order to step off, otherwise they would take off on you. This proved dangerous for my 69 year old mother who clipped the edge of a curb and was dragged by the segway into some bushes. She skinned her knees but all in all was fine and we had a good laugh about it later that evening. I would recommend that the segways be in better repair prior to letting new users get onto them and that the guides speak the languages as advertised. Generally, we just drove around Dijon but did not know what the sites were. All in all an ok time but would not do it again.
