The Tour was super. A high light snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef. We loved Sydney. A vibrant, friendly atmosphere. Everything works and runs to time. Efficient, beautiful shops, clean streets.
Our drivers were friendly and most informative.
The trip was fantastic. All the guides were amazing, especially the awesome crew!
Don't miss this tour! Great facilities, boat, crew, service. Snorkeling was wonderful - the highlight of the entire 4 week trip was seeing a 4 foot giant clam growing out of the reef (because I didn't believe they existed). One of our traveling companions is a certified diver, but preferred snorkeling to diving because of lighting conditions. Food was good, but line up early for best selection since it is first-come, first serve.
Great trip. Staff on the boat were excellent. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was having a good time and didn't miss out on anything. Would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of going to the reef.
An excellent trip very well-organised. Couldn't fault it in any respect.
Absolutely fabulous! Would highly recommend this trip to anyone! My favourite had to be the Great Barrier Reef Cruise, but going to Kuranda and then the beautiful calm beach of Cape Tribulation was wonderful too!!
We were taken to two sites. Both were excellent with the second being best. Saw many beautiful fish...including Nemo... crew was excellent. All in all this trip is highly recommended.
I am not a good swimmer and made the decision not to snorkel even though the crew gave me a lot of encouragement. Jeff dove but felt that the trip was more for snorkelers than divers. That said, we had a great time. We were taken good care of by the crew (who even gave out sea sickness tablets to those that needed them!) The lunch was cooked fresh, and was really good with enough for everyone. Then "Elvis" a crew member sang reggae and other songs on the trip back. We really enjoyed the trip.
The Kuranda Railway was amazing. Everything from the platform to the train etc. is a must see journey. I do not like heights at all so it was a stretch for me to go on the sky rail. I would have preferred to come down again on the train but Jeff really enjoyed the sky rail and felt it was worth it. Cape Tribulation day the heavens opened and everyone got soaked probably within the first 5 minutes of the trip. That said, it really didn't matter as we just went with the flow. When we stopped at the Wild Life Park in Port Douglas I did not know that you could feed the Kangaroo's so when we walked through the park they would come up and tap our pockets for food. We felt so guilty as they are so cute. I would recommend having $2 AUD handy to buy the food on the way in. We went back 2 times after this trip just to feed the "roo's" One of the Mum's had a baby in her pouch. This to me was the highlight of my trip, just feeding the Kangaroo's!! At Cape Tribulation we saw some of the biggest spiders, as usual our tour guides explained and taught us so much about the eco system and the plant and animal life. I would definitely do this tour again, also the lunch at the Cape T was really good. All the tours turned up on time, everything went really smoothly from beginning to end, and we really relaxed and fun.
We really enjoy the holiday stay in Palm Cove. These package of trips is enable us to see the most beautiful nature
in Cairns , Australia. Kuranda Scenic and Skyrail is the best.
Great trip! Loved the snorkeling! Kuranda Railroad is good but is better for history lovers. Cape Tribulation is beautiful and is worth the long trip.
All three days were fantastic. This is what you imagine australia to be about, friendly people, incredible views and fantastic wild life. Well organised, good value for money and great staff.
A little bit of everything. The reef tour was wonderful, Karanda was impressive, but the Cape Trip was too much for one day. Not enough time to really enjoy the stops.
The tours are well planned but rather costly. You enjoy them when you are doing them but once the tours were over I wondered whether this had to cost really that much. The Aussie dollar is also not a very cheap currency.
The Great Barrier Reef was awesome. The Kuranda Railway was very interesting and the Sky Cable had terrific views. The Draintree Rain Forest trip was really great and our driver was humorous and well informed. We enjoyed all three trips. We received good value for the cost.
,Good to great barrier reef and Kuranda rail, transport to cape trib a bit rough
reeftour was fantastic, Kuranda Railway and Cable Car was good, Thhe town itslf is nothing more then just lots of shops. We can recomend to stay there short and to visit the Aboriginal Village next to the Cable Car station.
The great barrier reef part of the tour was great. I came during rainy season so the water was really choppy and some people getting seasick. They provided pills to help with this although I don't know that they helped a lot. The lunch provided was pretty good. Salad, steaks (cooked well done and tough), fish, sausage, shrimp, bread and some coffee and tea from all that I remember. The snorkeling was still great despite the weather. Everything was very timely. The Kuranda Scenic Railway tour was interesting but just a village with lots of touristy shopping. I wouldn't go again. The Cape Tribulation day tour was also a bit of a disappointment. The entire day was spent mostly on a bus through the rainforest. The boat tour portion of it was quick and the time for lunch/beach was ok but short. The beach wasn't so great and again would not go on this tour again if offered.
First day to Great Barrier Reef was fantastic. Beautiful coral reef with lots of beautiful fish. And we had good snorkeling. Also learn a lesson, we should not sit at the front seat of ship. It sways and pitches, got sea sick easily.
Second day on scenic railway to Kuranda was good, small town on the mountain with many shops. Take the gondola from top of mountain back to sea level was good.
Third day to have visited Rainforest with guide explanation, we got some knowledge about vegetation and big trees. But only took a long drive just to eat lunch beside the beach seems not so exciting. But in the morning we visited one wildlife zoo was good, we saw Koalas which is awake. 90% of Koalas in the other zoos were sleeping.
Third day visited rainforest
Day 1 - trip to the reef was good altho they wanted to charge extra for the dive. I couldn't dive in the end as I have asthma, it doesn't say in the descr. A few of the crew were rude. Food average.
Day 2- 4 hours in Kuranda was way too long! Otherwise good!
Day 3- loved it and food good!
The Great Barrier Reef was a disappointment. It took all day and we did not see many fish while snorkeling. A different location would have been better. Kuranda Scenic Railway was excellent and not to be missed. Cape Tribulation was just o.k.
Although the Barrier Reef cruise had to be aborted because of an engine malfunction, the remaining Kuranda day and Cape Tribulation day were very enjoyable.
The latter was a little rushed, giving us too short a time for lunch and the beach.
Thank you Viator for the speedy action on our refund for Day One.
We booked these tour mainly because of the GBR, was expecting too much from Great Barrier Reef trip but was disappointed because of rough sea and turns out my partner and i were very sick the whole trip. Other day trips was okay, third day's trip was the best for me, little of everything n guide VG
